WARNING: before i took this class i saw 4.1 by his easy rating so i was like SWEET!..took him and now i regret it everday. Everyone in my class failed (i asked)..i got a C but i read every page in the book...not as easy as i thought. Anyways...STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY FOR YOUR OWN SAKE =)

Dr. Silk was an absolutely horrible teacher. There's a total of 4 grades in the class, he writes his own one-worded notes on the bored. 5-6 chapters per test and does not give any guided assitance to any test. He is no help to answering questions. He is unbelievably repeticious and repeats himself every class period. I learned absolutely nothing.

Wow. This class sucks. This class is only based on 4 grades which is stupid. He doesn't even no your missing or take attendence. Hes a nice guy, but SUCKSSSS at teaching.

Silk is ok, wouldn't say he's the best. Took him twice if I recall. Two different classes. The class was him lecturing the whole time, was lost mostly to tell the truth. Couldn't really follow him in his lectures, he spoke his own words and really no material out of the text book.

Horrible teacher, the whole time he'd say one or two things out of the textbook then he'd go on a 50 minute rant about his personal life or things totally irrelevant to the topic. not to mention he also lost my test at the end of the year and then tried to say i never took it. i would not reccomend him at all very boring and you learn nothing

Terrible Professo!He reads from the book and puts in his own 2 cents(which really in nothing Notes are one worded.Tests are not even from the notes or anything discussed. Too much repetition and isnt personable. He also shares how much he "tolerates" his wife and wished right now he didn't have kids.Great person to be teaching MARRIAGE AND FAMILY!

He is very boring. Requires a different textbook than he actually teaches from. Lectures have no relation to the exams. Gave me an f and accused me of not taking the final, when for a fact i did. NOT HELPFUL! VERY LAZY! will not respond to emails, phone calls, or any notice given to him. like i said, very lazy. and unorganized! useless teacher!

I recommend Professor Silk. Great teacher. Helpful. Tests are not hard. Read the chapters take good notes and you'll do fine...Pay attention and you'll get an A or B...extremely impossible to fail unless you skip class...or don't take the tests.

He's a real cool prof. that's for sure. doesn't take attendance. test are only 25 questions long & only 4 test the whole semester. i do recommend you take notes and read the book, but don't bring it to class you don't use it. other than that you'll easily pass
