Comment:
He seems very passionate about economics but it was to the point where he would get off topic trying to give an example. He will answer all of your questions, give explanations for practice exams, and the SI sessions are SUPERR helpful. Very lecture heavy & reading the book is a must. Go to the Vault for tutoring services ready with questions.

He's a crazy guy. I really never understood what was going on, but attended class - and he notices. Relatively light hearted guy, I didn't put much effort into the course. He doesn't fail anyone, in fact his grading is a bit confusing, but if you put in the effort - he will make sure your grade shows it. I'd take him again. Tends to stray from topi

He talks endlessly and jumps from topic to topic very often. Likes to go off tangent & its hard to identify what is necessary material & whats not. He designs his tests for most to fail and knows most won't finish. Make sure you don't skip class because you will miss a lot of material. You'll learn a lot about firms & antitrust, but not easy.

Comment:
Very incomprehensible. Do not take this class if you are used to standard lecture notes and an exam based on the notes. Tests are based off of the loads of reading materials and cases you receive. He speaks too fast to the point where you have no idea what he is talking about during class. Do not recommend.

This professor truly knows what he is teaching, and when one needs better clarification he does not hesitate in giving it. I was someone who did not understand all the material, but he worked with my and received B-. Make sure to always come prepared for class and actually attend his lectures.

Professor Seaman is brilliant--his ability to talk endlessly and jump subjects is a testament to that fact. You must read his lecture notes and the assigned chapterscase studies in the books to be able to answer the test questions. Sometimes class is a reiteration of his notes, and sometimes its essential material. Either way, he's entertaining!

Comment:
It was a tough course. Dr. Seaman's non-coherent, rant-filled lectures pretty much led me to teach myself the material to pass the tests. By the middle of the semester I found that attending class was pointless for me personally. He uses every possible moment of the lectures to slip a book/article that he wrote into the week's required reading.

Dr Seaman is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is friendly, approachable, entertaining, fun and really knowledgeble. He does not insist on attendance, hw etc but go to class and write down everything he says. It will appear on exams. His take home 24 hr exams are quite stressful. All in all a great experience and you will learn a lot.

Cool guy, even funny sometimes. But completely incomprehensible. Very scattered teaching, so you cant really follow what he is saying. He LOVES graphs, so be ready to do tons! Get the book, no matter the class, it will be the only thing that might save you. If you can BS, you will do great! Very fair grader!!!!

He knows his stuff. I find him funny and straight forward ? a very personable guy. He gives you plenty of sample questions for exam so you won?t go into a test not knowing what to except. The class goes at one speed: Fast. You should take 3910 before taking 4470 ? trust me, it will save you a lot of headache.

Bruce knows his stuff. Yes he is a bit cocky, probably b/c he's earned the right. He reminds me of Professor Perini in "One L." You must be dedicated to excel in class- If you need help boil your questions down to 10 mins and go meet with him. He's extreamly talented at econ though- Hard but good.

I'm not gonna lie. Seaman is tough. You'll have to work in his class. But you'll come out with a lot more knowledge then you went in with. He can be a bit of an arrogant ass at times, but his classes were enjoyable and I learned a heck of a lot about the entertainment industry. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Give exams that r not his that have many flaws and not willing to agree just takes off points. Not a people person.. still got an easy A but with my previous knowledge of econ..GSU student should say no to BS. "bull*hit"

I thought hew was a great teacher. Make sure you follow what's going on in class. Also he has open book tests, which aren't useful unless you mark the important parts. I thought he brought a lot of real world experience to the table.

Bruce is a ****.Not;only does he think he's the funniest guy in town, but sadly the smartest too. What a bad combo. He seems to stir the same buzz in every class I've taken with him-that he's full of B.S.-just as his initials indicate.Don't bother taking him,he's more focused on tricking you on his test than he is actually helping you learn the stuf

Bruce is a pompus, arrogant, lecture-only professor. There is no real questions/interaction between he & students. I HIGHLY suggest choosing another teacher, whether you just want a micro elective, or you really want to learn the stuff. He's smart, but truly one of the worst (prob THE worst) professors I've ever had.

The tests are not so bad if you read the book and study the quizes on-line. He does go off topic in his lectures, mostly talking about himself. During one class he insulted a student in front of the whole class.
