Super Easy A! Nice Prof! Took the online class. You have to do the work and put forth the effort but the test are easy. You know exactly what to expect, no surprises. Read the chapters, do the weekly open book quizzes, 2 online open book test and he gives you all info for mid term &final. Bio V01 was painless, learn a lot work at own pace! AWESOME!

Online class. A chap a wk, the chap are short & weekly online test easy, open book & not timed. You get 2 chances to take each weekly test & scores averaged. 2 online open book exams (chap test questions repeated) On campus mid-term & final. (again questions repeated) No due dates, get it done before the next exam. BEST way to take Bio and Prof is

Took the online class. ALOT of work!! Very hard tests but he grades on a curve and is very forgiving. I ended up with a 67% and got a B, but I did the extra credit essay. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT.

This is an online course & it's been really frustrating! His emails aren't clear & often don't address my questions--other students are more helpful. Everything is automatically graded, yet he made the orientation & on-site tests at 8:30 a.m. on a Sat! He didn't well explain the course requirements either at the orientation or in the syllabus.

This was an online class.. There was a lot of work and the questions on chapter questions were very difficult. I wish he would have a discussion board set up so we could talk to classmates. Very difficult class, I recommend taking it in a classroom setting. He is a very nice guy though when I met him at orientation and test days.

Great guest lectures. Attendance manditory. Dude wrote the text; know it. For a good grade: study for midterm as he doubles greatest test score (might not have to take the final if you do well enough on the midterm)& present your research topic. Confusing grading otherwise.

Teaching methods are outdated, hard tests with long questions, and closed book. Nice person, but as a teacher doesn't seem to realize we are learning something hard, that he already and has known for many years, doesn't seem to realize it's not easy for the students.

This was an internet class. Was an easy class but required a lot of time in front of a computer. Teacher answered all of my emails in a timely manner and explained his answers well. It is an internet class so you get what you put into it; so keep that in mind. Most of the questions from the midterm and final are from past chapter test.

Comment:

Theiman shines in a lab class. He is great at organizing outings to companies for tours or on site experiments. In class he was attentive and helpful while allowing you the chance to process information and try to solve it yourself first. Crunchy on the outside, soft center. Thanks Bill!

he is a horrible teacher. he might as well be talking to himself because he doesn't care whether the class understands him at all. Very boring and you have to rely on the book a lot to pass. Don't take him!

He's a smart guy. He knows way too much and he tries to tell you all of it. Only problem is, when he does he forgets to teach what is on the test. The curve is enormous. I'm getting an "A" with less than 70% average.
