Kind of annoying voice, but very nice and helpful in my chemistry lab. You have to print out the lab reports before every lab and study them for the quizzes, but they are fairly easy and short ones for the most part. Overall a good experience.

Professor Stan is very good. The quizzes can be difficult if you don't pay attention during lecture, but she's always willing to answer questions. A very nice teacher and I always looked forward to class.

LOVE Dr Stan! She keeps an otherwise boring Gen Ed fun. Lab isnt terrible. She lit a towel on fire in class. We asked her to do it again, turn of the lights, and play Sandstorm on someone's computer, so she did! She realizes that nobody likes the subject and is pretty easy going. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Stan works so hard to meet the students' needs and she cares so much about what's going on in our lives, i.e. taking prayer requests every monday. She is one of the sweetest women I've ever met! I hate Chem and she made it bearable.

Something has changed this past semester. (fall'05) Either the curriculum got harder or she has decided to crack down. Chem for living is no longer a blow off class and is quite difficult. My friends and I slid by with nothing better than anything between a C and D+. Heads up.

YOU SHOULD TAKE CHEM 4 LIVING! Prof. Stan knew my name after the first day of class. I would have gotten an A in the class if i wouldn't have read my newspaper and took naps in class. Nonetheless i got a B+ and put in minimal effort. She's nice.
