tough grader and very lecture heavy, doesn't care for students and has very very bad handwriting and accent. Textbook homework with over 50 questions , you have to teach yourself because he doesn't teach well.

He is a great professor. He is very knowledgeable in statistics because its his background, I took him for applied stats and prob and stats back to spring and summer semesters. He wants you to learn the material conceptually and wants you to use technology in his class to help you. He does alot to help student pass build a relationship with him.

Big lecturer so dont miss class. mediocre homework, and the tests are kinda hard but he tests in small amounts so for example our first test was only chapters 1 and 2 so it's not too bad.

This class was the hardest classes I've ever taken. But he was a good professor and helped through it. He is nice and funny. The class is just hard.

Comment:

Grade relies on tests. Wobneh's test occasionally have questions that are done from inferential knowledge of what you have learned, but they are very fair tests. Studying examples done in class will be sufficient for getting an A. Learning formulas and knowing when to use them will make the course a breeze.

The professor does not let the students take a lunch break despite the time of the class taking between 12 or 1 to 2 PM. Gives students poor grades on exams. And does not give extra credit to make up for the poor grades.

The professor's grading towards the students is unfair as most of the students are getting unfair grades. Furthermore, he is unable to give extra credit to make up for their poor grades which is causing most of the students to drop out.

Profesor has no clue what he's doing. The lectures are powerpoint where 90% of the important information is cover by speech bubbles. Goes off topic and rants about random stuff. Constantly saying that students have no clue what they are doing. Avoid at all cost. You will regret taking his course

The amount of homework he gives is absurd and almost NONE of it will help you on the tests. The review sheet for the test is basically all the glossary terms and maybe 1% of it is on the actual test. He barely preps you for the test and it covers 6 chapters. He cannot convey the material properly for learning and has an attitude problem.

People have to realize how to differentiate a difficult class and a bad professor. Dr. Woubneh is a very good professor, one who lives what he teaches. His one and only goal is to further his students education and knowledge. He lightens the mood every class and gives inspirational messages in between problems. Great professor in all.

honestly not that bad of a professor just got on nerves here and there because he just expects you to know all the material and thinks everything is "easy" however the test are not that bad because he prepares you for them, make sure you do the online homework as well Overall not that bad of a class if you have him just make it through the semester

He was very good! He made Statistics very easy. If you take him, make sure you don't skip more than two or three classes because he covers a lot of information and takes attendance. His exams were so easy! All you have to do is understand and study each topic he covered over and over again.

Was very nervous about taking this class, but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. A lot of homework but it helps improve your grade if you do it and helps you understand the material better. Takes attendance. Has a passion for the subject and class is interactive. Ask lots of questions in class if you don't understand something! Good luck!
