Liu is okay. Does not explain procedure clearly which is essential in a Controls Systems class. Youtube is your best friend for Root Locus and PDI controller design. Everything else Liu is not the best. His notes are not concise or decent. You cannot follow it no matter how hard you try. He jumps from place to place with his notes.

I had this professor during my time at lakehead in almost every semester. A lot of honest effort a really good mark. I got high 90's with him in all the courses I took with him. A dishonest effort a really bad mark. He puts in the work to his profession and expects up and coming engineers to do the same. Good on him.

One of the worst teachers i have ever had in my life, hey i can read the text book and copy like a monkey too mabey i should be a prof. He may be a very intelligent man and know what is going on but he sure as heck cant teach worth a damn, just copy word for word from the book.
