Lectures are long and some what interesting. Tests are very confusing and hard even if you show up and take great notes. However, I am glad she was my professor. Knows what she is talking about and takes pride in her knowledge.

Comment:

I enjoyed coming to class every day because the subject is interesting and there wasn't a lot of pressure at all, it was very chill. She doesn't take attendance but showing up and taking notes is necessary because the tests are lecture based, not text based. The tests are tricky, but the answer is almost always "both a & b" or "all of the above".

She did a very good job of explaining why things occur and why they happen. She is very knowledgeable and will help you any time you ask for it! She worked around my schedule, so that I could have a meeting with her about different geological careers. At the end of the semester she asked me what I was going to do for next semester, which is caring!

This was the worst class I've ever taken. She made the course unnecessarily harder than what it should have been, and I literally had no idea what she was saying nor what she was laughing about all the time. Needless to say, I still don't get the joke. Save yourself. Don't take it. Seriously.

Comment:

Her Earth History class is much harder than it needs to be. She wants you to use the book heavily for study, but doesn't really teach from it. Tests are more difficult than needed, "A and B only" "All of the above" on every multiple choice. People snoring all around, and she's a bit odd but seems nice. Drops lowest test, but theyre all a bit low...

She is weird, and she thinks shes funny.. but not. very boring class. there are people snoring all around. her tests are TRICKY.answers could be All the above. A and B only, or C and A only. She makes it alot harder than it should be. But she does give you the better 2 test grades out of 3. Which is nice.

Professor Smith is friendly, understanding and very helpful. Makes jokes on occassion that may get a chuckle. Information she teaches she knows a lot about and usually doesn't go the full class time. I haven't used the book or really studied and I still get an A on every exam. In class exercises are an easy 5 pts. An easy class for the good grade

I like her invertebrate paleontology class. I learned quite a bit even though her lab quizzes are tricky. Sh'e s a very nice and understanding person, and funny as hell (in her own way).

The most boring class you could possibly ever take at KSU. She makes it much more difficult than necessary. Her tests are ridiculously tricky. This LER was more work for me than any of my major classes the semester I took this. Stay away.
