Comment:

Awesome professor! She will spend most of class asking thought-provoking questions and you need to participate. Journal writing assignment each week (6pgs) and the tests are not guaranteed- if the class isn't reading the book, she will assign tests. If you are looking for a class where you can sit quietly, this is certainly not the class for you.

Discussions not relevant to psychology. Never opened the book. She insulted students and talked about her personal life nonstop. Has her favorites. Singles out people and forces them to speak, then criticizes the answer. Stay far, far away.

She didn't teach any psychology. If you are a psych major or at all interested in psychology, don't take her class. You won't learn anything at all. Actually, as a person she's okay. If she taught a philosophy or self-help class, it would be cool, because that's all she talked about. Unfortunately, that's not appropriate if it's a PSYCHOLOGY class.

if u are shy DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. she expects everyone to speak. i found her halarious. there are no notes just a general class discussion for every class. i learned so much. she doesnt believe in tests and is honestly brilliant. she isnt afraid to disagree with u and argue. u need to have tough skin to take her but she rocks

Niki is an AMAZING teacher. It's a shame that so many people put her down, the truth is they probably didn't participate so they couldn't relate, & received a bad grade in result of it. She teaches in lecture, but it's a very comfortable env. As long as you participate, she'll love you. Very nice woman, & is hilarious. I recommend her class!!!!!

This teacher was HORRIBLE. She did not teach at all in class. She made fun of everyone and picked on people for the stupidest things. TAKE ANOTHER PROFESSOR!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking to come into college and take the easy road through life then do not take her. She is an awesome teacher and really expands your mind. Let your voice be heard in class, she invites you to be yourself. If you do not participate then TEST! She is an awesome teacher and for those thinking about psych. take her, you wont regret it!!

If you have registered for this class drop it while u still can. Utterly no structure to class at all, purely opinion discussions about what u have been "considering". Expected to use book but tests and everything else is pulled straight from her head usually right befor class so no way to prepare. And oh yea she gives watever grade she thinks of:(

Sit in a circle all class and talk about opinions. Final grade is primarily based on participation. If you don't share her exact opinions/views she will tear you apart. Quizes are not on readings, they are all subjective opinons. She doesn't give out anything higher than C's on quiz's and papers. I'm a straight A student but she ruined my gpa!

Love topic os social psyc but she RUINED it for me! Terrible "teacher" if you can even call her that. Doesn't follow syllabus, quizes aren't even on reading. Sit in a circle&talk the whole time about nothing. Only gives out C's no matter what and your always left clueless as to what she wants. Final grades are based totally on participation.

She's a very inquisitive professor. Very nice and she makes you think. There's no such thing as being quiet in her class because she will pick on you. It was hard to follow what she wanted in her papers and tests though. Remember to READ the book

She will only give out C's unless you spend four hours a night going over the chapters. You will never know when you have a test. She completely disregarded the syllabus after 2 classes and you had to guess at what you should read. Don't take this classunless you want your GPA to drop from a 3.7 to a 3.0 like me.

Completly useless class, I took it because I wanted to learn about psychology and whatlittle I learned I taught myself. Class discussions did nothing to help explain the material in book and she tore you apart if you did not share the same opinions. Had to write "something intelligent" for 3 pages in a journal every night. Complete waste of my time

She gives a journal where you need to hand write 3 pages a day, 7 days a week, the entire semester. Although she is young and seems nice, she also assigns 2 reading chapters per class, takes attendance daily, and expects you to discuss topics with little guidance in class.
