Dr. Price assigns many readings, and make sure you read them. Once or twice a week we have a quiz over the readings, so bewared of that. It is a foundations class but only one major paper and presentation. Use his office hours, and let him know you care because then he will help you along the way.

Dr. Price is super laid back and casual. He assigns 1-3 readings each class and then he quizzes us on 1 of them the next class. He looks for good, descriptive writing in the quizzes (which are actually always just 10 minutes of writing on the subject). There are 5 major assignments and 14 quizzes he only uses each student's top 10 quiz grades.

Dr. Price is a great teacher. He makes the class involved the best he can and gives pretty good and interesting lectures. He drops your 4 lowest quiz grades after 14 quizzes through the semester. You will have to read a lot but its not that hard to understand. Papers are pretty regular, and participate. It will help in the long run.

Makes class discussion interesting and applies reading material to real-world issues. Requires a lot of reading and good writing skills to get a good grade, but you will definetely improve as a writer and thinker from him and he is incredibly helpful outside of class with anything.
