Comment:

10 years from now I won't remember the grade I got in her class, but I'll most definitely remember her kindness, inspiration, and life advice. Dr. Cava is an amazing lady, and she really knows how to engage and bring a class together. I loved her hands-on learning style, it felt way better than planting my face in a textbook. Take her if you can!!

Comment:

Very funny and very intelligent human! Be sure to right everything she says because you never know what she will test on. She is a very kind woman and try to build a good relationship with her by speaking out in class!

Comment:

The most memorable professor I have ever had and I have two graduate degrees. She was enthusiastic and engaging, moreover she was very caring human being. When I was a junior going through a very difficult time she reached out to help me- changed my life. I will never forget her kindness. She inspired me to teach and reach out to help others.

Dr. Cava tries hard to get her students engaged in the course material and is clearly passionate about what she teaches. Participation is important but not in a stressful way, if you speak every so often she will appreciate it and like you. Very flexible and unbiased grader. Would recommend to anyone. (Class was BUS 255 but that's not an option)

You do have to work in this class (current event posts, reading the textbook, an essay, and two tests), but you learn so much. Dr. Cava really cares about her students. Class discussions are incredibly engaging and her grading is reasonable. 100% would recommend taking.

Took her in Masters Ethics in 1992. Still think of her and the course today! She killed it! Engaging. Lived what she taught. Only professor from UM that I remeber by name. That big of an impact!

BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE HAD SO FAR. She is really professional, a very moral person and very very clear(and I'm international). She might be considered a tough grader by some, but I think reasonable is the definition. I did good. I don't know what else to say.. simply loved her for a teacher.. the only teacher I mailed after finishing the class.

I really enjoyed Professor Cava. She is very energetic and applies everything you read in the text book into real life examples which helps a lot to study from. She grades extremely fairly and is very welcoming. If you need help outside of class she is always encouraging us to meet with her.

One of the best teachers I've had so far. She doesn't do PPTs. You have to read the book and do the notes so it's not that easy, but she is very useful with her explanations and will help you when you want. She is funny. Attendance not mandatory but she'll def give you a higher grade if you show up. Quizzes every week which aren't hard if you study

Professor Cava is one of the best professors I have had at UM. She is very enthusiastic and passionate about her field. If you want an A, u MUST participate, show that you care, go to her office hours, and read the textbook because it is knowledge that will not only guarantee you an A in the class, but will be applicable in everyday life

She is a very good professor. Class attendance is mandatory for a good grade. Also, she is very into "brownie points" so be vocal in class and go to her office hours as much as possible. Getting a good grade is not impossible if you show her interest in the class and the material. Over all she was one of the best professors that I have had.

She is kind of goofy in a pleasant sort of way. she is definitely not as easy as turner and made the class a challenge. reading is a requirement if you want any hope for an A. she prepares you well for the final. she is from Miami so if you are from the area, you will probably earn some brownie points. tough, but relatively fair, grader.

Had her for business law. She's very hard and doesn't cut you any breaks, but, she definantly knows what she's talking about. I took her as a freshman which might be why i didn't do as well as i wanted. In this class you'll be challenged and learn a lot...
