Comment:

Papalas was a pretty good professor. Some of his grading on the tests was a little harsh, but if you show an initiative and speak with him - he will work with you. I believe that he really enjoys teaching history and discussing it with students. The only bad thing about it is that it tends to gettinig boring very quickly. Hannibal Lector clone! HA!

Class is easy, its just history. BOring to me because it does not excite me. Hes an excellent teacher, you should do the readings and interact, he will know everyone name by the 4th class and he notices every little thing so just appear as if you know everything and you will survive.

I really liked this class a lot. Some of my classmates found it tedious and boring, but they also wound up not understanding the material at all. An easy class if you pay attention. Kinda reminds me at moments of Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter.

He is the nicest teacher I have ever had and he genuinely cares about his students. He will go out of his way to help any student if they have a problem. He definitely knows his stuff and usually lectures by the book but you need to go to class and take notes to do well on the exams. VERY VERY nice man.

Dr. Papalas is an awesome teacher. He is very interesting and tries to include little stories from the past into his lectures to draw in your attention. He is also a very nice man and will go out of his way to help you. He does not like to see anyone fail his class, so if you do, you are pretty darn lazy. His tests are in essay format.

Great Professor if you go to class. Lots of note taking and listening but he is sooo smart and you will lean a lot. The only people who did not do well were the ones who are stupid or did not come to class.
