All I have to say is good luck. This class is close to impossible. Professor rambles in class and hardly gets through any material. He's not very good at answering questions because he will answer everything except the question you have. The only thing redeeming is sketchbook for extra credit. I've done better in his class by not attending.

Dr. Zook is a terrible professor. He's not helpful at all.You have to keep up with the readings every week in all three textbooks and really understand the material. His questions are never basic- you have to apply what you've learned.. You can do a sketchbook for extracredit and use it on quizzes, but it doesn't help much. This class is awful.

Awful professor. Quiz every friday with questions that don't make sense and are over things you haven't learned. Class is incredibly hard especailly without taking lab at the same time. Almost impossible.

Zook expects you to think through anatomy, not just memorize stuff. That is what lab is for. This class is easy if you put some effort into the sketchbook used during the weekly quizzes (and you get a lot of extra credit for it)and actually read. If you can think critically then you will be fine. Lab is more difficult

He rambles a lot.You do get to use a sketchbook with whatever notes you want for quizzes/exams and he gives extra credit for sketching things.3 books between lab and lecture. Both are hard. copy every word from the slides to the sketchbook, and trace drawings from the book and staple free hand copies over it or vice versa and you'll manage.lab blows

Worst teacher ever...OU needs to fire this guy...boring class cuz he just rambles and his quizzes are impossible...he tries to trick you and thats just stupid...a good teacher wants his students to study and know the info...but this guy just tries punking you...and the smirk on his face shows that he loves tricking you and watching you fail

Absolutely one of the worst professors at OU. Lecture is useless, just rambles and gets sidetracked; contradicts himself on quizzes and in the notes. Lab is where you learn alot. Not very helpful outside of class. Do not recommend taking if you have other classes that require alot of studying because this class requires most of your time.

He is the absolute worst professor I have ever had the misfortune of having. He often contradicts what the textbooks say yet insists he is correct. He'll have you learning complicated concepts and require you to memorize literally dozens of NEW things a day before being tested. He is extremely unreasonable. If you have any other classes, good luck.

This guy is pretty useless. He always jumbles up his words and talks about monkeys and bats and stuff. Really boring class. The lab is the best part about it. This guy thinks he is on top of the world and if you don't know the anatomy he rips you a new one... so don't ever ask questions. He is a joke and should have never become a professor.

Well, the class seems real easy until you take the test and fail. If this is your only class, it is doable. If you have any other classes that are difficult, it's nearly impossible to pull off. Lecture exam questions will never be something you've seen or heard before. Good luck with your guesses.

He tried shortening this class and it ended up being reeeally cramped for time, but I hear in '07-'08 he's switching it back. Don't put off your studying if you want to pass! He's an interesting guy and his stories are craaazy, but there's only so much he can teach you if you aren't putting in lots of time outta class. It's hard!

A hard class, be prepared for a lot of memorization and connections...But if you actually keep up with work and keep an open mind to what class you are in, it shouldn't be too hard. It truly is as hard as you make it.
