A very nice guy, but teaches nothing from the book except a few main concepts. Go to class, and get a chance to talk with him a few times. It may boost your grade if you know him, and he likes you. Read the book thoroughly, and you'll be fine.

You will need to buy and closely read the textbook because he teaches very little in class, especially about test material. What I did like was that if your test grades continually get better he will boost up your grade so that you can pass. Don't go to him for extra help he will look at you like you have two heads.

This professor is a moron. Plain and simple. if you take this class with him teaching..you may come out stupider...if you do take him, read the book CAREFULLY because you learn nothing in class. He will go off on tangents about one thing for twenty minutes and if you don't read the book...you're screwed on the exams

He is sometimes difficult to understand but he does bring some humor to a dry topic. If you are a more visual person and understand graphs pretty well then you should do fine. Also you must study the material closely especially any notes you take in class.

this professor is a pain to deal with. he does not teach at all but if you just READ the material and take the tests you can get an A in the class. His lectures are absolutely not related to anything.useless class KNOW THE GRAPHS!

WORST PROF , never talks about the material your quized on. I asked him for help and basically told me if i came to class and tried he would pass me. But did the complete opposite and failed me only 4 test that your graded on. He reviews nothing get out while you still can. Such a waste of money, time, and space. First class i ever failed.

This man should not be teaching. Worst professor I have ever had. Told me I was going to pass so I didn't drop the class even though I had permission to and than didn't pass me. Does not teach in class. Test are hard. Doesn't to test reviews says they are for hs teachers and prof who want good reviews. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS with Zottola.

This guy didnt teach us anything. He lectured all class about nothing. He would ramble on about topics that had nothing to do with Econ. His tests were based off the textbook but he never taught out of it. If you read the chapters you will be fine but dont expect to lean anything from this professor. You might as well teach yourself with the book.

Good professor and very nice guy. Its a hard class but if you like the subject and are willing to learn about it you will do good, if you have no interest in it its going to be hard but all in all hes a good guy.

Zottola is really nice, but not a good teacher. Dont take his class, I failed almost every test even though I would study for days before them. Some reason he gave me a B that i didnt deserve. 4 tests and thats it. I fell asleep, and spent my time doodling or readaing the book in class. He talks and talks, but not about the material, dont take him.

This guy is the absolute worst. LEAVE WHILE YOU STILL CAN! Got a D in his class and had to retake it only to get an A with another professor. Waste of money, waste of time, waste of a class, waste of a semester, waste of a teacher...

Waste of time. He requires you to read the book and doesn't teach you anyhting in class. If you read the book you'd be fine but you should still have to learn stuff in class. Classes make you fall asleep. Nice guy though

I had this guy for Econ 2 semsters ago. Being the only class I have failed at CCSU I have advice for anyone who is registered for him....LEAVE!! Do not even bother to try and pass. Class lectures have nothing to do with the chapters and the tests are beyond hard. He is old, bitter and will fail you with a smile on his face. NEVER EVER TAKE HIM!!

Get out NOW! The first words out of his mouth on the first day of class were, "This better be a serious group cause I swear I'll fail every last one of you!" all with a straight face. He tells you stories of his past, never follows the book and his tests are unfair. Withdrew with a 35 avg and got a B+ with another prof next semester. Hmmm?

I can't believe this guy is still at CCSU. Four years ago when I took him he was horrible. He doesn't teach at all, I don't even know why he bothers to show up at the uni. Terrible, terrible professor. He truely is worthless to the uni and the students.

Three 40 question multiple choice exams. He curves all grades at the end of the semester. No homework aside from reading the textbook. If you want to do well study hard, his exams though multiple choice are tricky. He was always available for office hours in the morning. His lectures at times could be a little long winded and dull.

He's not that bad if you show up to class and do teh work. Its not an easy subject so you really have to study. He curves teh grade but id say that the average person would get a C+, B- if they study
