I really wish I'd read these reviews prior to signing up for her class. She couldn't care less that you actually do grasp the concepts, just that you can plug them into a calculator correctly.

I understand where everyone is coming from. Yes you have to go to class and yes you have to pay attention. But Mrs. Davis was a scatter brain. She went from this to this to this. I can say that I failed the class. Either way it will always fall back on the student and never the teacher. Glad she is retiring!

The absolute worst professor I have ever had. She speaks in a very degrading manner towards students in the class and she is reluctant to answer questions clearly. I would especially not recommend her for an online class!!!! She is about to retire but I can only wonder how she made it through teaching for that many years!

Absolutely do not take this woman's class. She does not help you & is very flippant about helping you in anyway. Positively do not do an on-line class, you will spend all your time trying to understand her inconsiderate manner of teaching. FIND ANOTHER TEACHER FAST!

Ms. Davis is a pretty smart Math Teacher. She gives great examples for all the problems. A normal day in class quiz, go over the homework, answer any questions, and then teaches the next lesson. She does a review before each test and a quiz everyday. The quiz are worth 1,2,or 3 points toward your final grade. The are all extra credit. TAKE MS.DAVIS

Ms Davis is a good teacher.You really need to pay attention in her class.She will help a lot.Make sure you get the most up to date book.She writes her own books, and it isn't much help if you don't understand your homework.There is homework every night that is not collected, and quizzes every class.Also several group projects that are easy.

I hate math! Always been bad at it. However Ms Davis wasn't too bad at all. After i understood how to use the calculator..the class pretty easy. Didn't use the book as much as i thought i would have. Homework was never collected and projects are done in groups of 2 and they aren't very hard. Actually ended up being my fav class for this semester.

I have struggled with math since highschool Algebra, but Mrs. Davis made it easy. Very clear & simple in her explanations. Very helpful! Assigns 5 easy group projects, gives you two weeks to complete and drops 1 grade. If you study & pay attention in class the tests will be a breeze(they took me about 30 minutes each). I definitely reccomend her!

It is not that she is not a good teacher but she is a mean old lady, I only had 3 classes left to graduate I had 2 A's and since I am not good in math I tried my best but still she gave me a F after I explained everything to her! If you're good in math take her otherwise take someonelse!!!

GO TO CLASS, AND YOU'LL GET AN A. Pay attention in this class, and if you miss anything then go and ask her. She will help and better yet explain to you what you don't get. I hate math and she made it interesting enough to pay attention to. Horrible at first, but she gets a lot better after the first impressions. She is awesome & She wrote the book

I took the online section. Professor Davis is fair, in my opinion. You HAVE to keep up with your homework for quizzes and tests. Tests are very similar to the quizzes. If you ask for help, she will guide you. Only midterm and final for tests. Many quizzes.

Took it online. Big mistake. She's not very friendly, gives you vague notes, and makes you use her online textbook, which sucks. Midterm and final are pretty hard and you have to take them on campus. On the flip side, if you've got a lot of time and interest in stat, I say go for it, but if you've got a busy life, I'd pass on this class

I found Ms.Davis to be the most helpful, and understanding professor for a student that had not done any math in 20+ Years. Be an educated consumer of knowledge. You apply yourself and you will learn with MS. Davis. FANTASTIC Teacher My Favorite at GPC!!!!!!

very good teacher,presents the material in a very easy to understand way, her tests come straight grom the notes and the examples she gives.She is very helpful and cares for her students.She does give a pop quiz almost every class but they are helpful toward your grade and 2 projects.Make sure you study and you will do good in her class.
