She was a great teacher, I was just trying to pass my final French class and didn't really care what grade I got but I'm confident that if you put in effort this is an easy A. Shams is funny and makes class interesting and makes sure everyone is engaged absolutely fantastic professor.

I seriously love Madame Shams. I am not very good at languages but she makes class easy to understand and tells you what will be on the tests. Very helpful if you ask. Great sense of humor, would definitely recommend her!

Cannot express how much I loved Shams! She is sweet, funny, and young. She has been my favorite professor at UST so far. Tests and homework are pretty easy, and she doesn't require a lot from students. I LOVE HER!!!

There are not enough good things to say about Prof Shams! She is so caring, helpful, and wants all of her students to do well, I absolutely loved taking French with her. Easily the best teacher I've taken at UST. Take her!!!

AWWW! i love ashley shams more than air! she's so funny and sweet! at times she doesn't push students to full potential in learning the language but she always helps if you ask and is as helpful as students let her be. She's the best! She's super funny and quirky and makes class interesting! MUCH LOVE TO MADAME SHAMS!

great professor! SUPER nice and approachable and makes everything really easy to understand! Easy tests that are your standard listening, writing, and some culture, but she prepares you well. Gives study guides. Homework is done on a website, and really wants you to succeed! definitely take her if you can!!

She's a great professor! She's very perky and passionate about French. Class is a lot of fun, and it's a mix of listening activities, group exercises, and lecture. Four units are covered during the semester, and for every unit there is a quiz and a test, all of which are fairly easy. I would highly recommend taking her class!

She is an amazing professor who makes concepts clear while keeping the class fun. The class consisted of online homework, 5 tests, an oral presentation, 2 short papers, and a final. If you work hard and study, you can get an A.
