This class has a lot of work, If you just do the work and try you will pass. I failed the first exam and a few of her quizzes but she drops your worst grade in every section and my final grade was still an A.

Gives you enough homework to understand the material fully and enough supplements if you're still stuck. There for you and always willing to help. No set schedule, only moves on when she knows everyone is comfortable. Hoping to take more classes with her.

laissez-faire attitude. If you are looking to actually learn the material as an accounting major I would suggest another teacher. If you are looking for an easier teacher that doesn't really teach and you could learn on your own then take her.

I took this class with Rolland Cooper and failed. Took it again with Barbara Reeves and got a B. There are four tests and they only cover two chapters each. This professor is easy and great.

Awesome Professor! She makes the material easy to understand. She doesn't require the book, you just need the connect code. Her tests are not too bad, 20 points are awarded automatically from doing the connect portion. She drops the lowest test and the 2 lowest homework assignments. Highly recommended!

When I had her, I thought she was a good professor. Nice thing was you didn't need a book, but all the homework had to be done on connect. Her exams were a bit difficult, but she was lenient with grading computer projects. She even tried to get me to minor in Accounting. You can tell she is very passionate about Accounting.

Always show your work. She grades fair. If your answer is wrong, but your process is right, you will still receive high grade. Take notes. Come to class. Hint: Do ALL the practice BE,Exercises,& problems! She uses these for the exam. For the quiz, Practice the exercises. She chooses one out of exercises for quiz.

She is really good, very nice lady. I was scared at first and although i struggled at first, I caught on. She uses lots of examples, lots. Will help you when needed, answers questions, test are pretty to the point what was covered in class. I would take other classes with her if i was a ACC major.

Comment:

Very nice teacher. Easy to understand, I got a 95% on most tests. She does examples with you on the board & puts lecture notes online so you can follow along with the examples she uses in class. She's a regular person, making conversation about her kids, life, etc. which makes her relateable. I would take her again for any accounting class!

By far one the of the worst professors I have had. Her lectures are dry, and she relies heavily on email as opposed to making a clear syllabus with due dates. Her favorite topic to talk about is her children, and she has no place teaching a college level course.

prob one of the worst professors I have ever had don't let these reviews throw you off, She over explains a lot and her wordings on her test are ridiculous and some things on the final that we never even talked about, and also takes a week off to shoot guns in a contest when the sub prof is better than the actual teacher be warned

Very straightforward and helpful when needed. Her presentations can get dry but overall it is an interesting class. Participation helps with comprehension. Basically do the problems in class, take notes to study from and you'll be golden.

I had a hard time learning with this professor. She has an excel spreadsheet on the projector and just plugs in digits to the spreadsheet & the answer pops up...very easy for her but it doesn't help us learn how to do the math. She gets substitutes when she's absent & most are better teachers than her. And the "hot" rating is definitely misleading.
