I took this class hoping to get an easy A, instead I had to study and try really hard because his teaching methods are awful. He does not really teach math and he makes you feel stupid when you ask a question. Avoid taking this class at all costs.

He's a really nice guy, and willing to help if you need it. However, I really struggled in this class because I didn't have time to get out of class help from and had to mostly read the text book to understand what was going on. It was a lot more difficult than I thought a math class for non-math minded people should be. He curves which is helpfu

Awful. First, he wrote the textbook, second, he isnt clear, and third the lectures are completely different from the tests, which are curved but its still impossible unless you like thinking about something one hundred different ways..had to drop it.

I was always terrible at math, and taking this class i did very well because you use out of the box thinking. If your not good at math take this teacher because assignments are assigned, but never collected. and tests are easy as long as you come to class at least 3/4s of the time

Dr. Smith was an ok professor. I kind of like math, so I wanted something sort of challenging, but the course he taught was anything but. It was so easy that I skipped over half of the classes and got a B. I really liked Dr. Smith and I would love to have him for a class that I actually like.

Im not a "Math" person at all so I took this class expecting it to be somewhat easy. I WAS WRONG. He is the worst teacher ive ever had in my live. The class is insanely boring and he is terrible at explaining the material AVOID IT AT ANY COST!!! I came into college with a 4.0 and I have never made below a B in math, I have a D and I try hard.

Mr. Smith seems to be very knowledgable,but he is horrible at teaching. He can't explain math to save his life. If you need things explained to you in math, DO NOT take his class. You basically have to tech yourself everything you want to learn.
