I took him at UTPA, (lit of childhood/adolecense hybird class), he is awesome! very helpful. makes u read about 9 books but they are sooo interesting. he gives a lot of work but its easy just time consumming wasnt looking forward for this class but i ended up loving it!. if you read the book and do all the work its an EASY A!!

nice guy, he'll really help you out but won't step on your toes trying. he'll let you come to him, but he tries to set up meetings where you can come in and talk about papers. come prepared for discussions and READ the literary novels..etc. papers are important part of grade

Really good class, wasn't looking forward to it at the beginning because class was "Focus on Iowa Writers", but actually was a fun class, enjoyed breaking up into groups, a lot of busy work but nothing really difficult.

Really good teacher. The books you read aren't too bad and pretty easy to write papers on. You write a home culture and University culture paper but they are easy to write about. The only draw back is that you write a culture paper and read a book at the same time. My grammer and editing have improved greatly though. I'd take him again.

great teacher, knows what he is talking about. no tests, quizes, and NO semester test. all we did was read a 3 books and write some papers. pretty easy if you can read and write. i hate reading and writing and i passed with a B.

Great teacher!! Really enjoyed the class! There are no tests, quizes or lectures, so that a huge plus! He's very helpful to students with their writing. The books you read are somewhat interesting also! I like him so much, that I plan on taking him again for Intro to Lit.

GOOD TEACH! Class can be boring at times but it's way easy and if you write interesting papers it makes the class more fun. You do alot of peer evaluating and it has alot of relavence with iowa books.

Lots of preparing for each class period! The workload is intense, but it's all fun. I thought reading a bunch of books that take place in Iowa would be hugely boring, but each book was enjoyable to read and write about! I definately recommend this class, but only if you want to put in the effort.

Bill is so kind---really wants to get to know you as a person. Gives some tough love when necessary, really smart and really funny---has great stories to tell about his cat! He's a hunny. I would recommend him highly---even to unrelated majors---

Broz is an awesome man and instructor. Very helpful. Work is somewhat time consuming,so be sure to keep up, it's very difficult to catch up later. No tests, 5 papers, journal entries, and a graphic. Great class! Highly recommended!
