If you are a visual learner do not take this professor! She gives no notes all she does is lecture throughout the whole class very very very boring. She has some interest but not very much.

She lectures every class, lots of notes and has a dry sense of humor. However, she knows a lot about the topics that are discussed. Great person! Make sure to read the books that are assigned!

She truly knows what she's talking about. Very bland when she lectures (boring and monotone), but if you pay attention, take notes, and study/read, you will do fine. Good final exam policy: (can't remember exactly but it's something like) if you get A's on all your tests, you don't have to take the final.

One of the best history professors I've had hands down! Learned so much. She uses her knowledge for her lectures and exams cover just that. Used the book only for vocab. You could also use Internet so it's not required. We had 3 book tests that were fairly easy if you read them, ours were: Ida B. Wells, Harry Truman and Teddy Roosevelt

I ABSOLUTYLY love her class! It is just simple interesting and awesome. The way she explains everything, just wonderful. She is just like a friend of mine, emotionless, shows very little emotions, and then she is sarcastic. I can't say enough! She is simple an AWESOME professor! :)

She is a very interesting woman, she is very good at what she teaches, though she can be quite boring. You can take your tests as late as the last day of class and she is willing to help your grade with plenty of extra credit. Treat her right and she'll do the same for you.

I had classes from this lady when I was in high school as well as now in college. She still rocks as an instructor!! Her sense of humor is very dry. She knows her material like the back of her hand. Pay attention and do your assignments and you will do fine. A+++++

OMG! Ms. Atmar is the best history teacher out there. She is so interesting and extremly understanding. Attendance is not mandatory but the way she teaches will make the most clueless person want to come to class. I honestly enjoyed taking her and advise anyone who is not interested in history (or past battles) to take her!

Excellent Prof. Tests are straight from lectures with minimal questions from book, so if you come to class and pay attention, you'll do fine. There are three short books you read in addition, but those tests were easy. She LOVES to give extra credit so its impossible to fail unless you're brain dead.

Good Teacher! You have to attend class and take notes in the class, you will pass the class. I found this class hard but very informative. I learned a lot. You have to read all the books she requires, but she likes to give extra credit. I ended up have above a hundred average in her class.
