She is really nice but super anal,especially when it comes to talking about grammar.She takes forever to explain things,so don't ever count on getting out of class early.She is a decently hard grader and like I said a stickler for grammar.

I really liked her. The classes are small for WVU, so she can be one on one. I do not feel like she was a harsh grader. If you follow deadlines and participate in class, its super easy. She does alot of peer review. I really liked her as a teacher. Shes one of the teachers that has a genuine conv with you before class just to kill time.

Super nice teacher, gives a lot of feed back on papers. A bit of a harsh grader but if work and improvement is shown then a definite B. Likes to discuss the common english mistakes and people getting hit by cars during class.

Prepare to be invisible. It is the only way to get a good grade. I am an honors student, and if you have your own opinions, good grades, like to work hard, and like to participate in class she will defiantly not take a liking to you! I would never recommend her. I found her to be imprisonable, dishonest, and unfair.

So unfair! I am a 4.0 student, and she was nothing but mean, unfair and unhelpful to me. She gave me an unfair grade that I worked for weeks on. I absolutely despise her and I would never recommend her to anyone! She is awful awful awful!

Nice lady, but class is way boring, a pillow is a must. You do roughly 5 assignments all year long, and the rest she just stands up front and talks about whatever. She'll help you but watch out shes no push over for grading, I'm fairly proficient as english goes and I was definitely put to the test. Overall, not bad...

Mrs Harvey was horrible. Not so much hard as unfair! I am a 4.0 student and dropped her class because I couldn't stand her. Take Anthony Zias for English 102.. He's much better and easier!

Mrs. Harvey is a wonderful teacher and an all around great woman. She gives help needed with every assignment and is available for lots of help. Helped me a lot. I would love to take this woman again! Only problem, she takes too long to explain stuff, we could learn in 5 minutes and be out of there!
