Comment:
It's an easy class, he posts study guides and the notes online, but it's terribly, terribly boring. He reads directly off the powerpoints, which come directly from the book, and he doesn't speak loud enough for the class to hear. Attendance is mandatory, so just bring your laptop or a book to pass the time.

Don't bother buying the book, his notes are exact replicas of it! Easy in the sense that you have three tests and no final, but no one ever gets an A. One good thing? His class was a good nap...the few times I did end up going that is.

Good teacher, easy class because he provides a study guide. Everything on the study guide covers the exams. Also provides extra credit for your lowest test grade.

All of those comments were made by idiots. Snelgrove allowed full class time to any idea that we were learning. He holds a great class for multi-view point people to speak rationally about the great guestions in our past and persent lives. Both easy and a learning experince.

Snelgrove is very knowldegable about philosophy and teaches students the information very well. Only two tests and two papers a semester, all of which are easy. If you pay attention in class, you'll do well on the tests. I'd highly recommend this class and teacher to anyone interested in philosophy.

wow definatly not hot. yes his tests are extremely hard- i learn nothing from his rambling on, reading straight from the book is the only way to pass the tests. he likes to write random words like "telos" on the board- make sure you know why he wrote it- usually something you wont find in the book

I think this is a good proffessor, and a good course. He uses in class discussion to effectively relate philisophical concepts, and guides students towards understanding rather than telling them what to think. The work load is lite and it is easy to keep a high grade, good instructor for a good class

This is the most horrible professor I've had yet! His class is so boring, and if you ask a question, he doesn't even give a direct answer. He is 10 minutes late to class everyday, and when he does get there, he reads straight from the book. Do yourself and favor and DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!

BORING! I took his phil. course expecting some thought provoking conversation and to learn more about phil. Was I ever wrong. I didn't learn anything. Does this guy even have a phil. degree? He didn't seem like he really knew his stuff.

the tests are multiple choice and the most confusing I've ever been exposed to. I can't wait for it to be over tomorrow. He is a nice guy, but needs to get to class on time. Lots of students have dismissed the validity of the class due to his tardiness

It takes some work to catch on, but once you got it - you got it. His classes really boring, but if you're able to pay attention - I suggest having him explain the material in class and then trying the homework. And the class itself is not personal atall

This is a difficult course, if you've never had any logic before. He seems like a nice guy and does want you to understand it. His tests are multiple choice. He is pretty boring, though. His class does help for the tests.
