Dr. Barr is extremely knowledgable of the subject. This was my first pre-requisite for my future career path. NOT the most understanding professor if you experience personal life things. Overall, great lecturer, heavy lecture every class. Re-read notes, utilize study guides!! Her exams are NOT easy if you do not study.

Dr. Barr was super funny. I took her class in the morning and worried I'd be sleepy in there, but her jokes and enthusiasm for the topic keep you awake and interested the whole time. She provides study guides and if you make sure to use them, you'll do just fine on her tests. She's very fair and doesn't put trick questions.

Barr is an excellent teacher--her lectures are long but she makes everything easy to understand + she's hilarious! I only used the textbook for additional readings, otherwise I used her in-depth notes posted online. You're only graded on tests (4) so make sure you study--they're pretty tricky so put the time in!

Dr. Barr is the best and is very caring. She made stats easy. 3 exams non-cumalative. 3 in-class group projects. A few quizzes. She has good energy and is always willing to answer questions. Practically tells you what will be on the test - you just gotta study/review a little!

Took this class over summer and it was pretty easy. She is a great professor and takes the time to explain things multiple times if you dont understand it. She doesnt require you to buy any particular book and since theres so much free quality material out there, I didnt end up purchasing anything. All around great professor!

Comment:

Barr is a nice and enjoyable lecturer, but if you go to her office hours to ask about an exam question she is rude and defensive. The class is based on 4 exams which includes the final. The lab consisted of 4 lab practicals, which were all 100% memorization. She made class fun but in office hours made me feel stupid.

pay attention in class and always review your notes. prof barr is an amazing professor and explains everything thoroughly. you must put in the time and effort to do well because it's a lot of information to take in. exams are hard, some easy than others

Dr. Barr is very knowledgeable on anatomy and makes jokes that make long lectures bearable. Tests are manageable as long as you studied her notes thoroughly. Book is only useful for the few questions that are based off of them. Only complaint is that her notes can be confusing and unnecessarily complicated at times, but otherwise shes great!

One of the better anatomy professors in CSUF , BUT very far from and easy A. Homework and Attendance is mandatory, which gets in the way of study for exams which require more detail than given in lecture . Study guide are very broad and lack detail. Her lecture is okay at best, she is not very funny most of class fake laughed

She was pretty awesome. Just take notes and study hard for the exams and youll do fine. The textbook was only useful for the few textbook-based questions she asks on the exams. Just find a free online version like me so you dont have to pay lol.

Dr. Barr's class is okay. You can tell that she is really passionate about Anatomy, but sometimes that led to the lectures being all over the place and confusing. The lecture tests are hard (even if you studied), and the lab tests are easy but make little to no impact on your grade in the class. Overall, a very sweet lady but it wasn't that great.

Dr. Barr is AMAZING. I wouldn't advise simply memorizing the material, you have to understand the concepts to do well. Pay attention to her lectures and really study using her study guide and you can pass. She uses a lot of anecdotes and analogies to help you remember the material. Lab practicals are WAY easier in comparison to the lecture exam.

This is my second time taking Dr. Barr. The class itself is difficult. 4 lecture tests (all between 45-65 ish questions) 4 lab tests (all fill in the blank) and attendance is mandatory. If you do really well on the lab tests, most likely, youll do fine in the class with passing grades on the lecture! Great professor and highly recommend!

Dr. Barr is a great professor. She provides you with notes for the class and the content is very heavy. Be prepared to study and really focus because the content is A LOT to remember and make sense of. She's willing to help you the best she can. She's really funny and has a great personality.

Dr. Barr is an amazing professor! Despite me doing bad in the class, she really made going to class fun. Be ready to study a lot and the class is just composed of tests so if you don't do well on them, you will fail the class! Despite failing, I will take her again!

Great Professor! Go to class because she covers all you will need for the exam. No powerpoints so record lecture and take good notes. Provides a lecture guide that helps with studying as well. Be sure to attend class and study hard, not a guaranteed A, but she provides you with all the info you need to succeed in the class.
