OMG! I am so beyond heartbroken when I heard that Ms Benford had passed away. She was an excellent teacher, I was blessed to have known her and to be taught her at Central High School....she will forever be missed and remembered!

Outstanding teacher..she is the one teacher that I can honestly say that she is all about english, but furthermore, she is all about the success of every student. She shows emotions and feelings and she is one teacher that I will always remember (great role model).

Shes a real good teacher. She will call you out if she knows you can do better work then what you turn in. She gave me a C because she lost one of my papers which made me mad, but all in all she is a good teacher. I would take her again plus she got a big booty =)

ms.benford is a wonderful teacher. I had taken her class for Comp 1 and loved it so much that i had taken Comp 2 with her as well. She takes time to explain stuff to you if you ask. She will tell you what she wants from you, and wants nothing more and nothing less. I recommend her to any and every student!!!

I continued with Mrs. Benford from ENG-1113 into ENG-1213 and couldn't be happier! She is straight forward and wants nothing more than for her students to succeed. I had a great time in her class and encourage anyone looking for an amazing English professor to consider Cheryl Benford, it's a decision I know you won't regret! :-)

Anyone looking for an amazing English professor, look no further than Cheryl Benford. Without a doubt, she is one of the truly amazing professors at TCC and helped me rediscover my love for writing. Had her for both comp classes. She is a very good teacher. Anwsers questions when asked and makes sure the class understands her assignments. Keeps the class involved by letting students correct examples and other things. Gets students prepared for the rest of their college career when it comes to writing. Very leiniant. Made english easy.

took her for comp 1 and comp2...very clear and easy to work with...answers any questions you have .yes essays suck but you might as well take it with an easy intructor..got a A+ in both classes no problem...make sure you do the lab its an easy free 80 points..and come to class on time she doesnt tolerate late attendence!!!!!

Ms. Benford is a WONDERFUL TEACHER! Very clear on what she wants from her students. Excellent teacher, very intellegent and helpful. I put off taking comp classes cuz I am not good at essays/eng. But am so glad I took her class. She made it not so scary or difficult. THANK YOU MS. B! Will be taking her again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Prof. Benford is the most AWESOMEST teacher I have ever and prolly will ever have! She is so clear as to what she wants from you and her teaching skills are GREAT and she breaks it down to your level! She even allows for you to come by her office if you have questions or just talk to you anywhere outside of class! I highly recommed Ms. Benford!!
