Took for World Sustainability, unique class, not what I expected but liked it. Easy workload and grading, but you still actually learn from it if you pay attention. There are 2 books, but we mainly read 1. He tells funny, crazy and interesting stories. I finished it online due to the pandemic but it was easily doable online.

An absolutely amazing teacher who teaches the material through captivating stories about his life. You feel like you're not doing anything the entire time you're in his class, then somehow leave with considerable knowledge on the topic. All topics are open to discussion, even the controversial like religion and politics. He's really wonderful.

One of the best people I've ever had as a professor. I had him for World Sustainability. He cares a lot about each student, and tells wild stories about his life. You should attend class to really get the full gist of what he is teaching, and he'll often take you off campus to the salt box. The only thing I didn't like was the final group project.

Awesome professor. He cares about his students and tries to get to know them all. His stories are amazing. I could seriously listen to him tell stories all day. Expect to get out of your comfort zone, but in a good way! Hopefully you get to go to the salt box and roast marshmallows.

He is a great professor, and he truly knows what he is talking about. He occasionally takes us out of the classroom, which is a great way to learn. He is very helpful, and he really wants his students to succeed. I recommend taking him if you really want to learn.

He talks non-stop about his own eco-friendly life and random stuff which is kind of boring. He rarely ends class early. A big cons is that many of his lectures takes place at the Saltbox, 10 min drive from the college in N.Y. state so if you don't have a car you must constantly ask other students to get you there which is annoying.

One of Greatest intellectual professors' that I have ever had. I am currently taken his class this semester. He has expanded my understanding of nature, spirituality and being humanly connected to every living form of life. He has so much to offer, especially his connection with the customs, beliefs of Native Americans. His lectures are amazing!!

Only work was some short write-ups and a 10 page final paper. If you show up and do the work, you'll do well. He's very bold in his opinions, but does a good job of maintaining an open discussion with students. Will talk a lot about philosophy and his work vs. Ford. Prepare for at least one local field trip. Overall, a pretty easy class

Ecology, Society, and the Sacred Class...I am not into this type of subject at all but had to take it. If you are not into what he is teaching than you will be lost the entire class, but it is ok because he doesnt give any work! Only one paper at the end which is very easy. Just show up! He is really nice though. Easy A aslong as you attend

Had Stead for Ecology, Society and the Sacred. We had 2 Ramapo Indian guest speakers (one was the chief) in class and traveled to his Salt Box for some classes. Hardly any work-a final paper and some short write-ups. He tends to ramble on about whatever's in the news, like in his other classes. Only negative is he never responds to emails

World Sustainability with this guy is cake. Its an easy A just do the final project and two tiny one page written assignments. I never read anything and he goes off on some weird rants that the readings don't even matter, do take if u have to fill a requirement.

Took him for World Sustainability. Nice guy but he goes off on tangents about god knows what every class. Didn't take a page of notes the whole semester. Didn't read any of the books. 2 group projects but they are very easy. No midterm or final. Got an A.

Professor Chuck is probably one of the best and most interesting teachers at the college. He knows a lot about many different subjects. He wants students in his class to take an active role in researching and presenting their projects while continuously learning about social ecology and interactions between people and communities. Very cool class!
