Boring. Teaches like he is totally unprepared. His examples are incredibly unimaginative; he pretty much just points at the graph and says "for example, maybe bill is here on this graph and his employer decides to do this for some arbitrary reason, blah blah." If you aren't paying attention, he will call you out and make a big distraction of it.

Things make so much sense during the lecture; too bad I couldn't say the same of the book. Hawley will do what ever he can to help you. P.S. do all of the extra credit; it's easy and really bumps up your grade.

He doesn't give up when it comes to formulas, and often talks in complete circles. He tries to help as much as he can and pretty much lives at the University. But to learn the material, you have to read the book yourself.

Cliff Hawley is HORRIBLE! He gives us these formals and then says "well, that formula is completely useless, so just scratch that out of your notes." He is so boring and I HATE my econ class!! The tests are ENTIRELY too difficult for ELEMENTARY business & statistics!!

Dr. Hawley is so much fun. Trys to help whenever possible. Homework problems is pretty much optional & other assignments aren't too difficult. Tests are challenging but you get to use a notecard with notes
