Dr. Ensor makes his expectations very clear and gives consistently understandable lectures. Lab is really painful but it doesn't hurt your grade too much. Also, Dr. Ensor is very approachable if you need!

Second straight semester with Dr. Ensor. He is a very intense professor. He knows how to push you and make you think. His exams are almost impossible. He teaches extremely well. You have to put your time in to do well. I might even suggest more time than you put in for Organic.

Dr. Ensor is great! Quant is a hard class no matter who teaches it and you have to be willing to do the work to get the grade you want. Many people think he is unapproachable, but he truly cares about his students. Near the end of the semester he has the class over his house for a Christmas party. He also brings cookies and such on test days!

Dr. Ensor is not easy, but he's not the hardest prof. I've had. If you put in the effort, you'll probably get the grade you deserve. He is a little weird in that sometimes he is really friendly, and other times not at all lol. Overall, I'd take him again before I'd take some of the other profs. in the Chem Dept

He is the worst teacher I have every had! Not because he is hard but because he is so unhelpful. He is not approachable,it is as if he is a jerk on purpose. He is very unclear about everything. The class I took with him wouldn't be a hard class if it was with a teacher who knew how to teach and communicate with his students!

Very intelligent and knowlegable. His main interest is radiochemistry and does a lot of research. If you enjoy chemistry, he's a great teacher. If you are just taking the subject because you have to, I'd go with someone else.

He is so HARD. He doesn't explain the stuff very well at all and when you go to his office he doesn't explain anything that well. Looking back at the class, I don't think it would have been that bad if the info was given better.

A pretty interesting fellow. He is all into radiology and nuclear chemistry. I actually would rather take him than Northrup because he does skip a few slides and I like to hear other people whine about it. Got an A-wasn't easy, take Swartling if possible.

Take this class if you want to learn about Arizona. That's all he talks about. Sit up front so you can hear about his desert adventures. Quizzes are tough. Take Northruo, or if Swartling is teaching, take him.

He is a very friendly and caring man, but class is boring. Go for Northrup's PowerPoint notes and the frequent, but easy, quizzes. The practice quizzes on WebCT help, but Ensor's are harder and usually out of nowhere. Sit up front.

boring, goes thru imp. stuff fast, rambles about tangents for a long time, im not even convinced he knows what he is talking about...maybe he really does and just doesnt know how to present it, or maybe he doesnt and can just read off northrup's notes

Clicks through notes fast, but puts them up on WebCT. Doesn't talk very loud. Not very interesting. He doesn't seem to prepare you well for the tests. Always has extra slides to print off. Don't need the book. Take Northrup.

Way better than Furtsch but not as good as Northrup. Chemistry is just hard no matter what teacher you take. Study some and go to class everytime and you shuold make at least a B

This man's lectures are insanely boring. He'll click through the notes so fast that you can't even read them, but he'll take 5 or 10 minutes to talk about how to color glass. Very friendly man & always honest though.
