Comment:
Advanced Physiology is probably my favorite class so far at BYU. Dr. Sudweeks made the subject clear, interesting, and easy to understand. The class is pretty easy but you will learn SO MUCH. He designs in class questions to help you learn and they work! His attendance policy is very fair, you won't be trashed for missing a few iClicker questions.

while this class was easy A to get as long as you are diligent (50% got A's and the other half seems to not care as much) i would say that its not the physiology class your going to learn the most from, especially if the MCAT is in your future. the test questions are straight off of the slides and someone with no bio background could do well

Dr Sudweeks is a great guy. He is very congenial and easy to get along with. I would recommend his course for anyone interested in learning physiology, but without the ridiculous questions and tests that some professors give. His course was also very helpful for the MCAT.

Super nice guy. Lectures are a bit dry, but solid--which also means you can learn everything from the powerpoints in half the time, if you are so inclined (that said, there are participation points which count for a not-insignificant part of your grade). No homework, just exams (straightforward, memorization-heavy) and a 5 page paper on policy.

Not a bad lecturer, but class can get a little dry. He teaches directly from powerpoints.

Dr. Sudweeks is awesome! Best professor I've had at BYU so far. His tests are not easy, but he prepares you for it and the questions are not confusing or ambiguous. I would recommend him for any class.

Dr. Sudweeks is my best professor yet at BYU. He makes physiology a great class and explains the concepts well. His notes are very straight forward. Almost impossible to not get a good grade. I highly recommend him.

Great Professor. There are participation points and easy take home open-everything quizes to buffer your grade. He tells you exactly what will be on the test. The material is hard but I think he's the best person to take it from. I got a B but I didn't study very much.

Sudweeks is the most chill professor you'll ever have. I had him for 362 as well. He teaches well, he helps you learn and retain information, he doesn't waste your time. Tests are fair and predictable. He's very much on your side and very approachable. I just graduated and he is one of my favorite profs.

Dr. Sudweeks follows and tests from an outline that is over the internet. Very nice teacher and fun laid back class.
