He seems like a really nice guy, but I think he was confused about which class he was supposed to be teaching. We got 6 weeks into a CHM 245 class (Ed majors) without going over what the periodic table was. He ended up taking leave because his health declined, but I was dissatisfied with the class before he left. Overall, not recommended for CHM245

Had him for 122 & now for 123. Very nice professor, kind of monotonous, but gives good lectures. Exams are pretty easy if you do the book problems and practice exams.

I had him for 122 & 123. I thought he was a great pofessor. He's really good about answering any questions, writes all of his notes on the overhead and does plenty of exemples. He sends out old exams before ever test so you know what it will be like and what will be on it.

Had him for 122 & 123. Great guy. Good professor. 122 is harder than 123. Possible to get an A if you do the book problems and practice exams.

Great prof for 122-123. Lectures can be boring, but the material is clear and he teaches it well. Review sessions are a must; exams are easy, if you study. Gives optional practice exams and questions to study. 122 was harder than 123, oddly. Dr. Bombick is the best GenCHM prof byfar, if you can get in his lecture, DO IT!

He may be boring in his lectures but he definitely explains things and hes always willing to discuss your tests afterwards and dispute points. Dr. Bombick uses most of the same questions from previous tests from previous years so if you can get them then study those! The multiple choice is almost dead on! His class isn't that hard.

This is the most boring professor I have ever had in my entire life. His lecture is like torture. He gives sample test which are really useful, but then on the test, he switches the questions completely different from the way you learned it. If you don't have to take him, please don't!!!!!!!

Really helpful, gives out old exams and answer keys to study. Only complaint is his writing is hard to read, probably a good idea to read the textbook as well as take notes.

Spring Quarter 2009 is his first year teaching this course after x amount of years. Before Bombick, my impression of the Chemistry Department at WSU was grim. Class attendance is basically mandatory, as what he covers exactly what is on the test. Definatly one of the best lower levell chem profs.

Extremely helpful. You get to use a cheat sheet on each test (8 1/2 by 11). Reviews may seem hard, but the tests are a thousand times easier. Reviews are mainly to get you to think. At the beginning of class, he lectures on one topic (20 or 30 mins), then gives you a worksheet. once you're done, you can leave. we get out at least 30 mins early.
