This is the worse Professor I have dealt with. She will make you feel stupid for asking a question. She does not teach you, she uses a program called Tophat that you teach yourself from, via YouTube videos in tophat. If I could give her a zero I would. I asked for extra credit to try and save my grade, her response was try harder next time.

Worst online professor I have ever had and she's the only one available to teach this class. She is a tough grader, unhelpful, rude, & makes you feel stupid. The "notes" are useless, textbook is useless, and the homework is nearly impossible to do. Find someone else if possible bc she's not worth dealing with and screwing your GPA up for.

This class was only offered online, and she is little to no help. She once graded a homework assignment of mine wrong and when I told her about it we were emailing back and forth and when she finally realized she was wrong she only gave me partial credit for a question I got correct. Theres soooo much homework its ridiculous. I would not recommend.

This professor is terrible. I am taking this course online and she is the HARDES grader on assignments. If someone posts a question in the discussion board (like she requires), she tears them apart and tells them to read the book before asking ?s. Its like she doesn't want to help & makes people feel inadequate if you don't understand. DO NOT TAKE!

DO NOT TAKE! This was an extremely tough class to take online. Nothing was ever explained and she was very rude, snippy, and seemed to be annoyed whenever you have a question or email her. Does not seem to care about whether or not the students do well. Avoid at all costs. I do not recommend!! Good luck if you have to take her for Math2008

This professor is tough. Not the worst but also not the best. Very tough grader. I took this class because there were no other options. Class is only offered online and it's this one teacher. The math is manageable. Discussion board is VERY important. Don't miss that. I would not take this professor again. It is possible to pass the class.

I would not choose this professor if you can help it. She was slow to respond to emails and rude when she finally responded. Not helpful at all. The class is do-able, but be prepared to pretty much learn on your own.

Dr. Bennekin was great this semester. She was very nice and replied quick to emails. There is a lot homework, Quizzes, discussion, and assignments that you have to get done. If you miss any assignments, quizzes, etc you will get zero. She did helps students when needed and keep them inform when things are due. In my experience she was great.

Worst teacher I've ever had including teachers I had from elementary school through college. Awful teacher. Only "professor" for the course. She's anal about every little thing. Can't email her unless it concerns your grade only. TOUGH GRADER. It's an online class. Makes you post on discussion board on 3 different days a week to get credit.

This professor I don't recommend at all!! She has an aggressive work load for a support class used to HELP students with their MATH 1111. When asked for assistance, she gives sarcastic and rude responses. She uses a one size fits all approach to teaching the subjects and asks students not to send emails with questions they have about the lessons.

This teacher is horrible; she offers no assistance and bombards students with mounds of homework. Be prepared to put your life on hold if you take this class, because assignments will take up all of your time. She leaves "smart" comments when approached for help and makes all assignments much harder than needed. She made learning miserable.

This professor is by far the worst I have had at GPC. She assigns an unrealistic amount of homework, gives impossible deadlines, and shows no mercy in grading. She expects all students are math majors and offers NO help; her help includes remarks such as "This is an elementary school problem, it isn't that hard." Avoid at all costs.

Proceed with caution. The teacher treats this class as if it is the only class students take; the grading is unmerciful, the workload is outrageous, and there is definitely a severe lack of compassion. I have taken my fair share of difficult classes, but this one is by far the worst. I'm currently considering changing my major.

The class was okay and I made a B, however if she was there to offer more help I would've made an A. I basically had to go out to the school for help all the time. Make sure you get to the homework on time because it can be pretty lengthy, complete all discussions and quizzes.

No book needed just the mml code.2 chances to do the quizzes. about 5 homework assignments you have 2 weeks to do them no more than 13-20 questions mml is alot of help. Must post 3 times a week in discussion boards. Very easy just dont procrastinate once the deadline is up you CANNOT redo them. My grade is a 90something (final next week) Easy A

Dr.Bennekin is AWESOME! I was VERY hesitant to take her due to previous negative feedback read but my experience with her was opposite! She is helpful, dedicated, forgiving grade-wise, flexible, and she is a wonderful example of an excellent math teacher. I am totally glad I took this class and would recommend it to anyone who needs it.
