Wonderful teacher who is truly invested in making all of his students interested in the material. He goes above and beyond to excite students about the material and makes class consistently interesting.

He is fine. Although his class was boring, it would be very helpful if you use the question sheet he gave before the exams. Also, he made good PPT, definitely review every slide before the exam.

Horrible semester. Expects everyone to have a very detailed knowledge of physics for a 100 level course. 1st exam high 60s for average and he was surprised because he gave minimal conversation and expected us to apply concepts we had gone over once in lecture to complex examples. Stay away for the sake of your GPA

Does museum of science like presentations rather than lectures. Has no ability to explain, nor teach. Gets very offended when asked questions as it points out on his inability to teach.

I took his wr life in the universe course and it sucked. It was so boring. The work is pretty much over the same topics. he is a pretty tough grader, but doesnt give enough constructive criticism back.I didn't learn anything in his class. Do not take this class!

Honestly, at first Hudon is intimidating but after diving into the class, he is actually helpful and clear. He isnt a harsh grader, and he is understanding and genuinely wants to help students. The comments below are just those who cant get past him being a bit monotone and condescending, but its how much he cares that counts. Take this class.

I don't think you guys give him enough credit. He does his best to explain things, but it seems he knows it better than he can teach it. His quizzes are not difficult, but there will sometimes be unexpected questions that he never mentioned in class. He expects students to figure things out themselves. Not the best prof, definitely not the worst.

Hudon is definitely the worst discussion leader in core sci. He is terrible at explaining tough topics and usually doesn't know the answer anyway. He is very unclear and goes off on tangents when he has no idea what to tell you. Take someone else!

I had Prof. Hudon for Core Science lab Fall 09. While I didn't understand his humor until the following semester, I found his explanations less than clear. In addition, when I asked a question, I feel like he could have cared less if I understood the answer.

Not personable, not helpful, not clear, not caring. Tries to explain things to you - but only does a good job of doing so AFTER the lab's been turned in. Unkind and not engaging. When you ask for help, he asks, "What do YOU think?" when obviously you don't know what to think or you wouldn't be asking him.

Hudon is terrible. He has no patience for people who don't understand concepts immediately and becomes annoyed if you need an explanation. Take Coverdill who actually cares whether or not you learn something.

Professor Hudon IS THE MAN! He always asks what his students don't understand and replies to every email within the day. If you don't understand anything, he will always let you know. Exams have alot of material but aren't that bad...labs and problem sets are slightly annoying AND DIFFICULT but doable. Hudon really cares about his students, and his

Doesn't tolerate coming to lab unprepared. Very direct; clear instructions, will repeat if asked but doesn't like to waste time. Students can't leave lab until it's complete: this means printed, with half-page graphs that include major and minor gridlines and tick marks. Fair grader. Can go to him for help, but be sure you know what you're asking.

I love the Core and had Hudon for lab. He was useless. He was bad at answering questions in my e-mails and sometimes wouldn't answer them and make me go to his office hours. You're better off digging around in your textbook for help than asking this guy. He seemed somewhat annoyed too that I asked too many questions. I hear Coverdill is better.

As long as you don't disagree with Hudon, he is fine because his quizzes are fairly easy and he usually gives out questions to narrow down the subject matter. However, if you attempt to say anything against what scientists are doing in any subject, whether its stem cell research, cloning, or whatever the topic, he will be very rude from then on
