Don't use the textbook at all, so don't get it. If you don't show up it's hard to stay on track. Very very very very lecture heavy and gets off topic.

He has an accent and his handwriting is terrible, so for those reasons alone, prepare yourself! PowerPoints are rarely used, so you must take notes to the best of your ability. The tests and exams are fairly easy, as long as you study the appropriate material. Be prepared to read! Overall, he is a knowledgeable man, but his delivery is subpar.

I really enjoyed him although other students didn't, he is a very smart man and trys to crack jokes that are somewhat funny but its kinda awkward so you just laugh on the inside. Tests are challenging, but if you study notes you'll be fine. ALWAYS TAKE NOTES & GO TO CLASS. Classes are let out early sometimes. I recommend. He broadens your horizon

Although it may be hard to tell at first, he is a nice guy with a good sense of humor. His lectures are long and you must write down what you hear because he does not use power points, and handwriting is impossible to read. But he is intelligent, and follows the text closely! Test are fair, just midterm and final & project

Dr. D really is quite hilarious if you pay attention, but the nuggets of humor have to be really dug for. Make sure you sit in the front row, otherwise you are likely to fall asleep. There is no room for discussion in his class, just lots of lecture. It was not my favorite, but if you take the time to get to know him, he's a great guy.

Hey lets just say I personally would never take this Professor again. Cant understand a word he is saying, he's handwriting is suppose to be English but looks like Chinese handwriting. Doesn't offer much help, not too many assignments and is not clear of what he wants on assignments, lets just stay away from this guy.

He is the most boring teacher ever. Most of the time you cant even listen to his lectures because they are so boring. He talks for the whole hour and a half, and rarely stops. Would not recommend it.

His lectures are extremely long, repetitive, and sometimes you can't understand what he's saying. Don't even attempt to read what he writes on the board because its not possible. Also, if you're a guy, he won't respond to your emails. Puts half the class to sleep every day. take another professor.

All I can say is DO NOT TAKE HIM. The lectures put me to sleep. He makes you buy the text and you never use it. Incredibly boring. God awful handwriting. Gets off topic easily. Doesn't try to get you into the subject. Avoid him if you can, but if you get him, just take lots of notes and try to stay awake. I got an A without TOO much effort.

He's know a ton about what he teaches, but it took me 2 classes to even understand what he was saying(just a warning). He has a very dry sense of humor, but is kind (outside of class). His pet peeve is when you get up to go to the bathroom and you ALWAYS have to remind him to give the class a break! He is not an easy grader either! Overall, I would try and choose a different prof.

Worst class and teacher. He talks the entire 3 hours and acts like a 10 minute break is a gift! unable to follow or understand because he always goes off topic, nothing ever connects. Will never take him again, worst experience to date at Rider. His grading and hand writing is immpossible! If you are smart, stay away from this class.

most people think he is boring and completely useless, but i love ****inson. he is one of my favorite profs. i loved social and cultural change and if you like the material you'll like the class. actually very helpful outside of class. very intelligent man, just gets lost in his own mind sometimes

Have taken 3 of his courses. He is very passionate and knowledgable regarding course subject matter. Material is well presented, interesting and overall enjoyable. Well get you thinking about this big melting pot of a world we live in. Great classes/teacher if you are interested in subject matter being taught. Highly recommend!
