Comment:

Prof Mydlack is now one of my favorite professors. His lectures were always super captivating for me. He is also one of those profs that you can tell they really love what they are teaching. Would take again. There's outside reading, but it's manageable and supplements the lectures.

Comment:

Danny is a really great professor, he is super caring and always finds ways to make the class interesting. He gives us really helpful study guides for our tests that make the class really easy to pass. Even though this class was a lecture he still found ways to be personable to each of us.

This guy is a true character. He is very passionate about the class and literally gives you every answer to every quiz. He makes it interesting because he loves it so much. Check out his youtube channel for a laugh.

This class was honestly great. You have to show up because he only allows one absence, but his lectures are very interesting, funny, engaging, and surprisingly laid back. There are four tests, a paper, and some reading due each month, but it's the easiest stuff in the world. He even gives you the answers the class before the test. Take him!

Weekly passages you have to read and answer three questions about. No textbook though. 3 quizzes and a final. He gives you the answers to the quizzes. One final paper that he is really picky about, which was annoying, but other than that the class was easy. He only made us show up Tuesday's for a Tuesday/Thursday class which was awesome!

One thing that is good/bad depnding on how you take it. Is he makes us read a few highlight passages of the chapter and fill out a form of questions we have to answer. Also he gives us the answers to the test ahead of time but will phrase it differently on the test. Also he is a big futuroligst. Also he was on the Weird Al Show.

Best class I have ever taken in production! Very focused. Really deep training from the basics up to really advanced techniques. Covers everything other classes skim over, camera, sound, editing. Made the best project I've ever done.

Seriously challenging. Definitely separates sheep from the goats. If you don't love creating video, don't take. Most organized class ever. Professor created a website with everything. He even wrote a book for the course. Lots of whining online -- mostly from students who should be in another major. Show biz, not for everybody!

I would not recommend taking Mydlack for this course; Maybe 311 where the course is a lecture & too large to know you by name. I took this course by him because I figured I knew his grading style. However now having him in a smaller class size shows his arrogance and how rude he is. Entire class revolves around 1 documentary due at end of semester

I really don't recommend taking him for 373. The project you spend the semester doing is interesting and I did learn a lot but he is not a good teacher. He's rude and insulting. He mocks students in front of the whole class and is not afraid to tell you your work sucks with no tips to make it better. He's just an unpleasant person all around.

Had him for both 311 and 373. He was good for 311... super easy.. literally told you the answers to the tests. 373 - DO NOT TAKE! He is the rudest professor I've ever had! I don't recommend him to anyone! He will insult you and make fun of you in front of the whole class. The class itself is very repetitive of the pre-reqs so it seems pointless

He is a tenured professor and clearly shows it by the lack of respect he gives his students. I've never dealt with a more disrespectful professor during my time at the school. He makes it clear what he wants, but then you follow his instructions and he isn't happy with what you did, so he will insult you for it. Do not take him.

Great teacher. He's clearly passionate about Media and Film, and makes class interesting rather than just spewing crap at his students every day. He's extremely funny, and easy to stay focused on. No homework is great, easy 5 question tests. One of the best teachers I've ever had, easily.

eeeeeeeeasy. extremely funny. really down to earth. makes the class FUN and interesting. no assignments throughout the semester, just 5 easy open notebook tests. helps you out by throwing away your lowest test score. even so, you still end up learning the material for some weird reason. (maybe cause he really got me to pay attention lol) TAKE HIM!

extremely understanding and patient with each student's different level of entry into his class. he's not only completely helpful at ALL times, but he knows what he's talking about and he knows how to get his knowledge across to his students. there's LOTS of writing, but no exams. take his class if you're willing to put in lots of hours into writin
