He is a good prof, but when it comes to asking questions, you don't need to do that. Just find the topic and then go to Wikipedia and search the topic, and you will find his information from his slides. As well, his slides have way too puch info on them for just one class.

Dave is a great prof. I have had him for multiple subjects including EVST 100 HKR and now Evst 2210. He is really easy to talk to and get along with. He does put up alot of slides but if you write down the notes then you will have no problem with the tests.

He has notes up on powerpoint that are mostly taken from the book, (some things are contradicting the book as if he read it wrong.) He doesn't give constructive criticism on papers or questions on the exam. And today something that annoyed me a little was that he consistently spelled arctic like "artic".

A bit fast and notes were kind of jumbled. Very helpful and easy to get along with however he is a hard marker. Really good at outdoor classes, seems to be in his element.

Should not be teaching! Does not know what hes talking about and does not care about students welfare. The only reason he has not been fired is because he is on a ten year contract. He should only ever be allowed to teach grade school gym.

This prof was a moron. He was unclear about the course outline and what was to be done. He relied heavily on the overheads, and skipped quite a few classes. The part of the whole course was pine martin simulation - it reminded me of grade school.

Did not inspire confidence - I felt I knew more than he did. When asked why, on a mutliple choice test, answer d was wrong, the only answer he gave me was 'because c is better'. Might be better outside a classroom environment.
