He is an absolutely amazing person. He tells the most fascinating stories and he really has the ability to make you think with them. He makes class interesting and informative. If you are a good writer and have good ideas you will do well. If not, he is always eager to help you write and think. Not always easy to reach but manageable.

Dave is the jolly green giant of English. He's the man. Makes what we need to do crystal clear, makes sure we know he'll help us. Happens to be one of the most hysterical men I've ever met (i.e. "aggressive squirrel" and "dutch cat" conversations amidst literature analyzation).

this guy likes to call people out a lot to answer questions and read from the book. i hate that, but overall he was awesome.he gives you the chance to re-write your papers for a higher grade and super clear about exactly what he wants. if you have any trouble go to his office hours, he's really nice and helpful plus i think he likes that. take him.
