Have had Mr. Pope for several classes and he is a great instructor. He is easy to talk to and will try his best to help you understand a problem. He is passionate about teaching and while he is somewhat corky and unique in his own way, he is genuine and a great human being.

Great teacher, great guy. Definitely knows his stuff and is passionate about both Networking and teaching. I would gladly take Pope's classes time and time again.

He's great. He tries hard to get to know the students. Seems to really know the material he's teaching. Distinguishes between what the book says and real world experience. He is hard. He expects you to work your butt off. But being a college course you should expect that. The test questions almost always come from his online quizzes, study those!

Pope is a very good teacher. He rightfully assumes that at the 260 class, the students have a pretty good knowledge of the subject matter and we'll take a more hands-off approach with the class, which helps us learn more on our own. He helps when needed and gives candy!!! Would recommend this teacher if you want to avoid meaningless lectures.

Very good teacher, mixes a good variety of humor, personal experiences, and a wealth of computer knowledge to make the class fun. He's pretty laid back and will have fun. He teaches the class very well and gets to know each student on a personal basis. Would reccomend to anyone.

I had avoid this instructor like the plague. Heard he was tough and an ahole. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is a capstone course so you are expected to be able to think and do research for yourself. He will point you in the right direction if you get stuck, just don't expect him to hand you answers. That's not how this course works.
