Comment:

There is very clear instructors, not too much homework, well at least is reasonable. However, the quizzes are difficult. For example, the study guide has 25 questions and maybe 9 defintions for a 65 question quiz with only 25 minutes to complete the quiz. Plus only half of the study guide was on the quiz.

I loved every class I took with Mr. Gill even speech class. He made class fun and has the best stories. He makes it very clear when you come to his class to be ready and prepared and to do the work. He gives the grades you earn.

Cool dude, one of my favorites, strict but very fair and his class I felt was pretty solid and very little pressure. Id take any of his classes any day and just for the fun of it.

Mr. Gill was an interesting person. Friendly but arrogant, and not understanding or caring of whatever is happening in your life. His tests are beyond easy if you pay attention and read. If you have to take this class, I recommend you make the best of it and get it over with.

Gill is a super good professor. Hes tough on grading but at this level its expected. His attendance policy isnt fair. But over all super cool guy, cool lectures, makes the hour and twenty minutes worth it.

I've had Mr. Gill multiple classes. Grammar, Shakespeare (2xs), and small group discussion. He is a hard working professor and I believe he means well. He tells it like it is honestly. His personality is shown in the class and I like that rather than sitting at a boring lecture. He gives hard tests but you have to do the work and study.

Hands down, the best speech teacher! He is hilarious, and only expects you just to do your part. If you put in the work, he will reward! Would definitely take again, simply for the jokes.

Mr. Gill makes learning fun!! He has an amazing sense of humor. I love taking classes from him. I especially loved reading some of the Classics in ENG 107, and I would really love to travel to Europe to see all of the amazing historical museums and sites that I read about.

Dennis Gill is an incredible professor. He loves what he's teaching, and takes the time to help anyone who's having trouble or doesn't quite understand. His classes aren't "easy", but they're fair; you can't drift through them, but if you put the work in, you'll be just fine. He's also really funny. If you're thinking about taking his class, do it.

Dennis Gill is a bit different than most teachers. Although he is pretty funny, some of the time we didn't really know exactly what we were supposed to do. Expect to read A LOT in his speech class and know that the tests are not always on stuff we have actually learned in class or read.

Comment:

Very hilarious and makes the classes very entertaining. He requires books that are very cheap which helps. He is also very good at remembering students names and making conversation in and out of class. Very easily one of the best professors at TVCC.

Mr. Gill was not the worst professor I have ever had.. but he was not the best either. I think that his teaching style is actually effective, however.. I did not feel like he was approachable. If your going to take speech Melissa Vargas is much more open and pleasant with students. I dropped his class because it was apparent he was not a good fit

Maybe I'm just a good public speaker, but Gill can take even the most abysmal speaker and make them gold. If you're willing to work for him he's willing to work with you. He's one of those Professors who can't stand slackers. If you're going to **** him at least be articulate about it.
