She just doesn't teach herself. her GA/TA will teach the majority of the class. Exams are online and easy if you read the book. She is bad at explaining how to do assignments. Have to interview and write a paper. Overall, its not a hard A, but she comes across as rude and makes you feel stupid in her class. You won't learn anything about HRD

Strawbridge has the most insane grading scale I have ever heard of, I had a 95 and it was an A-, the lectures are boring and she is somewhat rude at times. Thankfully she grades the final project leniently.

Comment:

Professor Strawbridge seems really strict but she really isn't a tough grader at all. Her grading scale is RIDICULOUS. I have a 95 in the class and it's considered an A-. Never any homework. Always let our 3-hour class out early.

While she may come off very strong at first, she really does care about her students and knows a lot about the HR field. She is really easy to get along with and grades really fairly! Two online exams, an interview paper, and group project is all you have, you have to try to get a bad grade in this class!

She is truly an inspiration. She is so down-to-earth and professional. I have never had such a professional professor in my life. She is clear about her expectations, but is willing to go to the ends of the earth to make sure you succeed as long as you show her the respect and effort necessary. She will help you if you meet her halfway.

Take her. Ignore the previous person who said she can be biased. They obviously didnt do the work. Just go to class and do the work and you're guaranteed an A. She was also very helpful. I had forgot to turn in an assignment because of an emergency and she understood, didnt even take off points. Remember this is HRD, not Rocket Science 101

Amazing Professor! Really helpful and understandable, work is manageable. definitely able to get an a in the class! But you have to go to class, pay attention and do all the assignments

DEFINATELY stay on her good side. If not expect to be screwed in the end. I had an A in the class on all assignments, tests, and projects but got a C at the end of the semester because she wasn't a big fan of mine. She does not handle herself professionally, fighting as if she was 12 years old. For someone who teaches HRD her people skils suck!
