Absolutely loved Laurent!! He always made everyone feel at ease which isn't easy when learning a new language. His humor made the class so enjoyable and it is obvious he really cares about the success of his students. He's very encouraging and overall just a great guy!

I love Laurent! He is a great teacher, knows the materials so well and makes it really interesting. He sticks to the syllabus and normally hands work back pretty quickly. I recommend taking one of his classes!

Having him for my first French class was wonderful. He really loves his students and takes a lot of time to respond to questions and make sure everyone understands everything. He's energetic, extremely nice, patient, and it's fun to be in his class. Really enjoyed his teaching.

He is the nicest professor that I have ever come across. Extremely engaging and dedicated to his students- loves to see them succeed-came to love the weekly video discussions we did to improve conversation skills. Easy to get an A, but he encourages students to want to go beyond what they are "expected" to do and want to learn everything. hes great

If you have even the vaguest interest in French, do NOT LEAVE ****INSON COLLEGE without taking class with Professor Laurent. Not because his classes are easy (they aren't always, & if you ever find that they are - CHALLENGE yourself to work harder, & you'll be rewarded!), but also because he is very engaging. And fun. And kind of my hero.

I ADORED this professor. After french 230 with him, I made sure I would have him for 236 as well. He's from France so his French is perfect and he will help you a lot with your accent. He's an awesome guy and always cracked a joke. Really warm spirit w/ a sense of humor and not at all strict. Loved his class

One classy dude. Laurent is a professor I'd chill with. He's kinda like a cool uncle. He teaches lots of stuff in a way that isn't to strict or overbearing, and is the kinda guy who's class you don't skip... keep it up

He's a pretty cool teacher compare to other French profs. But I don't like his style of teaching, he confuses with his own deadlines, missed few of my papers, simply a very confuse and lost profs. I don't find him any helpful at all, he only likes to help those who can speak perfect French. I would not recommend him for any high level Frenc class

He's a very nice man that's very easy to understand. He's willing to go slower when you need it and he's forgiving with deadlines. However, he's the least organized prof I've ever had. He's lost two of my papers, changes deadlines constantly, and doesn't stick to the syllabus at all.
