This lady is by far the hardest analyzer of a per and test you will ever meet. You must be thorough and back up every PT. Even if its just your ethics on the situation you can just blurt stuff down on the paper. She literally goes through them line by line. You have to know how to listen and be ready to respond while taking notes. Long essay lover

SHE IS TOUGH! I made a B in both of her classes (American Lit I and II). Her tests and quizzes are easy if you read the stories, but her papers will kill you. I never made higher than a C on any of them. If you want a challenge, go for it...if you want an easy A, this is the wrong teacher.

I have taken her class and her grading is hard to understand. She does not take late work. She is not understanding at all, and does not care about her students at all. If ask for a grade by midterm she will not give you one. Find another Instructor!!!

She calls you out in front of the class. She is also inapropriate. Talks too much about personal life. DO NOT TAKE.

I thought taking this online class would really help my grade. Boy was i wrong. She is probably the worst teacher i have ever had. She moved up our final exam without informing anyone. She is very rude and does not care about anything. Don't even try having an excuse with her. Run. Dont walk.

I disagree with those saying you earn the grade you get. I am an A/B student and both literature classes I've taken with this instructor have been frustrating. Yes - if you read the assignments you will do well on quizzes. The essay and research paper is where you lose with this instructor. Her grading is biased and too critical.

She expects way to much especially since my class did not even count. When my aunt died I notified her my work would be two days late. She said that's fine. Well she took off 10 points for the assignment being late. I questioned her about it and she said well just because you notified me doesn't mean anything. I had to send in proof my aunt passed.

I had her for 2 different ONLINE classes this summer. She is extremely difficult and expects way too much. If you have a life and do not have perfect grammar, I would not take her. She is also very short and talks down. If you ask her a simple question, she will snap at you. Good Luck.

I would advise against taking this professor. Half the time spent in class is wasted talking about God or her personal life. She is unclear on what she expects for essays. She is VERY particular about the wording used on her open-answer tests.(Even if they are her own words.) Her "suggestions" are mandatory. Her lectures are glorified sermons.
