Comment:

At first she can come off as cold or heartless. Try not be turned off when your paper is full of red ink. She is one of the best professors and really helped me improve my writing. Although difficult, Professor Crowe really appreciates a student who is determined and willing to work hard for their own benefit.

Very nice lady. She was extremely helpful and gave helpful critical advice. Don't why some are disappointed. She was very caring and helpful. I would take any of her classes!

She's awful. She hides behind academic conventions and has nothing to offer a student who has the ability to think. She will never be satisfied until she sees you repeat the same writing tasks over and over. She will use what little power she has, forcing you to go to the writing center.She would prefer you to quit than try to do well. Defeatist.

Crowe was a very easy teacher. I thought that I would dread coming to Lang., but I didn't mind it at all. She makes sure to greatly explain all the material and everything she wants from you. She is very helpful,nice,and caring. I recomend her class.

If you aren't very good at lit or english, take crowe. She teaches more to people who have difficulty in the subject than to people who actually have more knowledge. She loves to give research papers that are 20% of your final grade so be prepared.

She plays favorites a lot, is not clear and then takes off a lot. Expects perfection. Not a good or fair grader, goes against all the values she is teaching in class. Grades way to harshly on such few assignments. Overall, a horrible class.
