2nd time having her as a professor and she's still great at what she does. There's easy online assignments, however the tests are pretty hard. Pay attention in class and show up because she doesn't put her slides online.

Ms. Elliot was awesome! She made her classes fun and easy to learn. I had her for Diversity in Biology and there was a lot of material to learn, but she made sure you understood it! I would love to take one of her classes again.

Really nice and brings some humor into her labs. She is really clear on what she expects and as long as you at least try in her labs and put in the work, it's pretty easy to get credit. She wants you to do well so she encourages students to ask for help before handing in the final product (finished lab).

Her class is very easy but its mainly class exams which is hard! When emailing her she would respond back very rude. Definitely do not recommend.

Overall, her class is very organized. She was very intimidating to me in a good way. She will not take any BS. If you prove to her that you will do anything to succeed she will find a way for you to succeed. Tests were hard for me. Meet with her in office hours if you do not like your grade.

Prof Elliot is a really great professor. Her lectures are very organized and easy to understand. If you just take notes where she tells you to, you will pass. You will need to buy the textbook for mastering biology but I think that's pretty standard for every professor for BI101 at GRCC.

She's such a good teacher. She has outline notes available to print to make it easier to take notes. Beware if you skip class because she doesn't put her slides online. I would definitely recommend her!

I had a blast with Ms. Elliot, she was the first teacher I have had in college at GRCC that I was actually a wonderful teacher. Whenever i had a question about something Bio related that we weren't even talking about, she still knew how to answer it and make it very simple.

This class is pretty straight forward. She really knows her stuff and does a good job of being interesting and friendly. I would strongly recommend taking your time on the mastering biology homework. This will really improve your understanding of the concepts and make the tests and quizzes easy. The provided online notes are great use them.

She was a great teacher and tons of fun. Class attendance is required. There are quite a few Mastering Biology assignments but they are easy to complete. She offers up to 20 points of extra credit to boast your grade. I would definitely recommend her to others.

She is friendly and approachable. She defiantly knows what she is talking about. She provides notes for students and does group activities. She allows us to complete up to 20 extra credit points. Tests are not too difficult, as long as you know the material. She has a great attitude and is always smiling. Her lectures are never boring!

She isn't bad but she favors students. I tried asking a question once and she cut me short of an answer and didn't even ask me to clarify, but when certain others ask she will go in depth and go off track. Makes people feel intimidated to ask her questions bc she often will offend you in a way.

Loved class with Lauren! She loves her subject and knows her stuff. Very willing to help. The class I took I already knew most of the info so I can't say she wouldn't be a tough grader for a tougher class, but I found her expectations very clear and reachable. She's very sarcastic, which can come off rude, but it's in good fun.

Lauren was a cool professor. Make sure during labs you listen to what she's looking for to earn your 5 points. She makes you earn your grade. She's very sarcastic and had a good sense of humor. I can tell she loves what she does. She'll help you, but she will not give you an answer without making you look in your book for it. Overall great class!

LOVED HER! Very passionate about biology so at times she may seem a little tense. If you pay attention, take good notes and use the study objectives, the course will be a piece of cake & you WILL succeed. (Looks & acts a lot like Camerin Diaz)
