alot of reading, hard tests/essays. rediculously long final(4 total essay questions, 6 quotes to identify, 7 symbols, and 5 background questions) class was moderaltely interesting sometimes. sucked for the most part though.

requires a ridiculous amount of effort to do well. readings are long, and other things like journals are totally pointless and extremely tedious. she was all about women's role in literature and bashed thoughts apart from hers. all in all the class was a lot of effort for a mediocre teacher. not worth it.

Prof. Shoop is a great teacher, and probably one of the easiest for World Lit I. Most of the assigned readings are really short. She is very cool and fun in class. Just make sure you don't mind speaking up in class. Everyday you take quizes about what you read. They are pretty easy if you read, but don't try to use sparknotes for her.

Eva is a pretty good teacher, she is EXTREMELY HELPFUL! She is not a hard teacher, but did assign a lot of reading. She was liberal with paper extensions if she knew you were trying and struggling and would even meet outside of class to help in any way she could. If she bakes cookies tell her you want them soft (she likes crunchy cookies)

Ms. Eva is an amazing teacher and I absolutely love her class. She is very understanding and willing to give extensions as long as you talk to her and actually try. Her grading is one-hundred percent fair, and she is extremely helpful in every way! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HER!!

Shoop is awesome. Not only is she incredibly bright and insightful, she is an absolute joy to look at. She awoke my slumbering libido with astonishing ease. I would like to hug her, kiss her, take her out for pizza, marry her, and father her children.

Don't take her! She grades really really hard. She once gave me an F on a paper because she didn't like my views or points. Mind you I had made A's on all the other papers in her her class. I ended up making a C in that course due to that 1 F paper.

She is an amazing english teacher that is willing to meet with you anytime, even when she had a 40 page paper due,She does grade kinda hard but if you go to the conferences and taker her advice then go to the english center for grammar i can guarantee 4 A's on your essays. Also take what she teaches in class and include it in the essays.

Great Teacher and VERY COOL. If you listen and include in your papers what she teaches you will make a good grade. The only people who don't do good are those who are too dumb to change their style after being told to do so. I made an A on every paper.

In one word, "horrible." The good reviews prior to this one might have been reflecting the "just coming to Auburn," Eva Shoop and not the teacher she is now. Shoop is a pushy professor, who lacks that certain gift of purpose and encouragement that all good teachers must have.
