Frank Fokta is a Wonderful man with great insight and drive lot no other man I have ever met. Finally he made it and I am very proud to say I spent sometime with him and every minute was worth it. School always came first, very dedicated and now I finally know that he finally made it. Thanks Little Italian

He is so awesome! He is what everyone should hope to be as a biology major: intelligent. He expects you to know alot, but that is because there is alot to know in biology. If you can't make it in this, how do you expect to make it later on when the teacher doesn't care even half as much as he does?

he's hard! i sort of agree w/ the person below: i worked my ass off but didn't get a good grade.he wants you to know *everything*. he should've told us specifics on the structure of his quizzes early in the semester. otherwise he's really helpful,& he's got his own website which saved me--use it!

never worked harder in my life to recieve such a bad grade. No matter what i did it didn't work and those weekly quizes were rediculous. Stay away from Fokta. I was very disappointed

Very nice guy, very dedicated to his students. Really wants you to do well- The tests and quizes require a lot of material and because of that they are incredibly HARD, but he has made his own website with lab pictures to help you so you can't say he didn't try-

very very hard becuase he expects you to memorize everything. He'll help you if you have any questions but what's the point if he's still going to give really hard quizzes? expect to know *everything* when studying for his quizzes.they're as hard and valuable for the grade in his class as the tests

I really really hate this class. He is so incredidibly difficult for no reason whatsoever. There is no reason as to why we have to memorize the stuff that we do for a stupid 6 point test. I guess he is a nice guy, but to me he comes off sounding somewhat arrogant and full of himself

He is a nice guy, but his class was near impossible. Quizzes were as hard as the tests and it is impossible to memorize everything he tells you to remember. HE wants us to remember anything and everything for a 6 point quiz, but when i remember it, i still fail.

1 of the BEST profs at LUC.Material covered in test's somewhat challenging, but he genuinely cares for this students & does whatever he can to make sure u succeed!! He even comes in during the weekend b4 exam to help u review.Whoelse would do that?!

Dr. Fokta is an interesting fellow. He's a pretty nice guy, but his tests are almost impossible. I hope you like memorization, because he tests you on the scientific names for everything, and I mean everything. Memorize, study slides, memorize.

This class is a like a nice walk in the park and Doc Fokta is the path. Sure it winds aimlessly at times, but he'll get you there eventually. This guy tries to be tough, but if you can read and write at least at the 3rd grade level - its a breeze.

dr. fokta is a really nice guy. he genuinely wants his students to succeed. he is kinda unclear when he goes over stuff but if you read the lab you'll be fine. quizzes and tests are insanely hard but not impossible. he helps you a lot individually tho.
