Professor Smith is an awesome Professor! His class was easy, he spent most of the time just discussing the material with the class. The test was take home and open book, which made it easy for everyone. I would definitely suggest him to anyone!!

Very kind and insightful. I learned more about myself than course content. I can see how others may dislike him because he shares his own experiences and opinions constantly in class. A great person to know and talk to outside of class.

Gary is what a professor should be: caring, motivational, and intellectual. He brings into the class what other professor's don't. He realizes that you don't want to be lectured and would rather reach out to you as students. I've learned stuff from him on life in general, not just subject matter. You won't regret taking his classes!!!

Gary Smith is a very insightful, inspiring professor who has so much to offer his students. He is very knowledgable & is fair & caring for his students & wants to know each & everyone of them. Assignments & readings are important, but participation & discussion is key to having a good grade as well. Gary is always available to help his students!!

I really don't know what to think about Gary. Many say he's one of the best. I admit he is very kind and treats people with respect, but I find it difficult to understand his religious interjections into the class. I do not honestly feel that I have learned much about anything in his class other than himself and his life....

One of the most thought provoking professors I have ever had. He encourages students to think - really think and challenges them to do so in an out of the box manner. Gary also forces all students in his classes to have a voice - so if you are uncomfortable speaking in classes - be aware - you will be called on - BE PREPARED!
