Comment:

I love Dr. Marco. She is definitely knowledgeable about marketing and makes the class pretty entertaining. She can be strict, if you do not do your work or pay attention. She is a little bit "old school", but don't let that scare you. She is very willing to help students and she has a good time with the class. The class was also not that difficult.

Comment:

Dr. Marco is one of the funniest professor you will ever meet. Her class is always entertaining, and you can get a great grade in her class if you're willing to do the work. Homework is a huge portion of the class, so if you're going to be lazy and not do it, then I suggest you take someone else. I would take any class taught by her again.

Comment:

Professor Marco seemed a little intimidating at first. However, she is very funny and caring. All of the assignments are on Mcgraw Hill and she gives a long time to complete them. I would definitely recommend taking her.

Comment:

She was pleasant the one time I spoke with her on the phone and I believe she has the best of intentions. She told me she had never done an online course before and boy did it show. Her grading took way too long and in the group backpack project she informed us days before the end that if we hadn't been at a certain level we would fail that part.

She is actually a really nice person. The lectures typically get off topic but she is very entertaining. Very little work; 2 assignments, 1 group project, and 3 tests. Pretty flexible with scheduling of course objectives and will work with the students. If you are on her bad side, get out; she has no patience for rude or overbearing people.

Comment:

Marco is by far the worst professor I've had at RMU. She doesn't even teach 10% of the material that is on the tests. Don't bother emailing her with questions; she won't answer those. Basically the ONLY way to pass this class is thoroughly read the chapters word for word and be able to answer the most detailed questions. Avoid her at all costs!

Marco is not too bad. The class is actually really easy as long as you complete all the online assignments (which aren't too bad) and quizzes. She gives you practices quizzes which all the test questions come from. The Marketing game is fun and is worth a decent amount of your grade. As long as you complete everything it's an easy pass.

I would not recommend taking her. She is really disrespectful and does not teach and heavily relies on the group project and there are only three tests and the online work is dreadful. I absolutely hated the class and was so happy once I was finally done.

Funny professor but the class time used was wasted. Didn't teach and used an online simulation which was a group project. Her directions are unclear and does not care if someone puts effort into assignments.

Oh dear this class. Do not take this class with Gayle if you have the chance, this class is basically a glorified online class. She barely covers any material in class, and the homework on the material is due BEFORE she teaches the material in class. Class is mandatory, but she only covers 5% of a chapter before moving on. Tests are terrible.

DO NOT TAKE! This professor is disrespectful to students and doesn't teach much of the material. She starts off strong, but her caring of the class declines as the semester goes on. This semester she missed 2 full weeks and required us to go through the entire book! She relies heavily on a homework workshop that does not work at all!

I really enjoyed what I learned in this class. Marco can be funny but also sarcastic, it just depends. The tests aren't too hard but you HAVE to study. The questions are application based. She does different projects, never the same one each semester. Towards the end I was lost. I learned a lot from the content. Not a bad professor overall.

This professor does not take student seriously. She essentially goofs off all class, and expects the students to learn everything on their own. Tests are abnormally hard and do not relate to the material we go over in the lecture. She also has a very negative attitude about life. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! AVOID!

She expects you to work, and show up for class. The reviews for her class could not be more off. Tests are difficult, but she curves. Show up for class, participate and you'll pass the course. The only students that performed poorly are those that never showed up for class.. Why attend college if your not going to put in the work?
