BEST teacher ever. Dont buy the book he teaches everything you need to know in lectures. I FEARED the thought of taking speech, after the second speech everything was a breeze and now I'm 100% confident speaking in other classes and do not dread presentations any longer. This teacher is amazing and teaches so much! Thanks for everything Stockdale!

Professor Stockdale's class was the most personal class I ever had. The topics were not force so it made it easy to talk about in a speech. His class is fun and I wish I could take it again. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK!

I took Stockdale a few years ago. Still one of my favorite classes I have ever taken. Don't be fooled! He knows what he is doing. Giving a speech in this class is a breeze if you don't mess around! He is a wise man. I wish I could go back in time to take his class again. You will be happy always to have taken his class.

I enjoyed his class. He's very smart and super easy. You dont have a quiz or any exams. Just focus on your speech and you'll be fine. There are 4 speeches and 1 fairwell speech. But you're OK !

This man is completely insane, but he knows what he's doing. Even if he doesn't seem to have a clue, listen and watch. He's actually giving you instructions. The class is very immersive in that regard, but definitely not for the faint of heart.

This man exemplifies communication. If you would like to understand something outside of yourself and become comfortable speaking and being heard; this man will praise you. Easy class, says there's a final but never gives it. 4 speeches that are easy. He talks almost every class so you can do any speech when ever you want. He will correct your BS, so know your stuff. I missed about 10 classes and he didn't care. Surprisingly no one dropped either. Oh yeah and don't buy the book!
