If you pay attention to any rating, pay attention to this one. Dr. B is not a fun teacher to have. If you want to have multiple meltdowns in a semester, hes the professor for you. He will not respond to your questions in a timely manner, his grading is inconsistent, and his directions are vague (This is an online class). Save yourself the misery.

I'm really surprised by the positive reviews on here. Baum is absolutely awful. His lectures are boring and the book we used (which he wrote himself) is no help whatsoever. He's quite rude and uncomfortably awkward. I don't know how you guys had the same professor - this guy is a joke. Horrible teaching style.

As stated by a few others, classes online are a bear. Those of us taking online classes don't have the time to set aside for conventional schooling, this is something that all of Penn Tech does not seem to understand. If I could do it again, I would wait until offered with a different professor, better yet, never attend Penn Tech.

Took online Human Resource Management. Gives a lot of work! Hard to balance with working full time & taking another class. It started off fine but his work is very time consuming. Hate midterm essays. Releases the questions on a Monday night & they were due on Wed by 5. VERY HARD TO DO IF YOU WORK 12 hr shifts!!

Dr. Baumgardner is a great guy! He's incredibly helpful if you need guidance with work. His lectures are informative and contain real - life examples. Be prepared to work - he's not the kind of teacher that just gives you an A because you show up - you'll have to earn it. Attend class, ask questions, do you work and you'll be fine.

Prof. Baumgardner is very easy going and easy to talk to. He always lets you out of class early. Homeworks are easy, but tests can be hard, but he always gives you a chance to get points back on your test. Good teacher

Very nice and easygoing. You takes notes off a powerpoint. You have 4 cooperative learning projects you do but mostly in class with a group. Tests are easy if you study. You write one research paper on any company regarding to the class. Final is based on the last couple chapters, so its like any other test you take.

I took this course over summer online. It started out easy but then by the end it get hard and just ridiculous. He is very stricken on what he wants for the homework tests and project. Take only if you have no other choice... Must give yourself a free summer

rarelt goves homework and if he does its very easy. test can be challenging if you dont study but its almost impossible to fail becuase he will give ten points back to you for just writing for 5 questions why you got it wrong. Awesome teacher. can be boring and it is a lot of note taking. Using a laptop makes it so easy
