Comment:

He did a very poor job of communicating to us what we needed to do. We had no textbook, and we never once had a zoom meeting nor any videos for learning. All he did was upload his own typed notes or he would post links which either didn't work and they were all hard to follow. His grading made no sense, would give me 18/20 or 9/10 but say good job!

One of the best teachers at K-State Polytechnic. Great at covering the information. Tests are fair. I like the way homework applies to information covered.

Comment:

Lectures can be a bit dry at times but overall a very good teacher. You can tell that he cares about what he does and he often uses his experience as examples (which is entertaining.) Go to the Luncheon Lectures (make sure you sign in tho)! He offers extra credit for those and you'll often learn something.

Comment:

Most of the assignments (and there are many) are easy, but they don't assist much in the learning process. I got an A in the class but didn't learn much. His whiteboard notes are almost illegible. Don't bother studying for his tests because his questions make make little sense and they do not reflect the study guides. He's also quite stubborn.

The online supervisory management. the class is not difficult however he seems completely unaware how much work he actually assigns. It is ridiculous. a 5+ page paper due Wednesday then another read analyze and write assignment due the same week. just extremely full of useless busy work.

Great teacher. Has real experience. Uses lots of examples to illustrate material. Real practical topics covered. Tests are hard, but you can do well if you go to class and do the homework. Thisclass was one of the best classes I have taken. A real keeper! Go Stephens!

Great discussion in his classes. He challenges students to "think" and uses many real life examples to explain concepts. Do not miss taking one of his clases. Not an easy instructor, but one that teaches well.

Comment:

Learned alot in this class about supervising and management. There was a lot of in class work but not very much out of class work. There were some large projects however. He is a great teacher for this class and grades fair. You will do fine in this class if you participate and do all the assignments.

Do not take this class with this teacher. Took a GE class WAY too seriously. Had students volunteer at his friend's museum for 12 HOURS! Take basket weaving instead. I've had him for other courses, good teacher. Just not this class!

Excellent teacher. Helps students in any way needed. He helped me personally with a business problem. Great advice. Great teacher. Makes classes interesting. Gives tough tests, but is very fair. I liked him very much as you can tell. He gives a lot of examples in class and brings in current events.

I used to think he was an ok guy, then I had him for another class. He doesn't care about other's views; he's the only one that's right and grades reflect this. He DOES use students to do his personal work, during class time, too. I will NEVER take a class from him again if I can get around it!!

Was great, fantastic personality. A fixture of the community. Even rented a house from the guy. Truely a class act, even though he drives around that beatup truck. His wife is also an educator and a great person as well.
