Great guy, good teacher. Can't always explain things that clearly but is willing to help outside of class and the TAs help a lot. Grades subjectively and tells you that up front. Wants students to do well!

Sandler is so funny! He is extremely helpful outside of class. In fact, I actually think he explains things better one on one. However, in class, he skips from step A to Step Z sometimes, but typically all the TAs are really helpful. Also, he grades somewhat based on effort and attendance so it's not a difficult class to manage at all.

Professor Sandler is a wonderful guy. He keeps a class that could be extremely boring pretty fun. He always makes jokes and lightly picks on people. The homework problems are completely unnecessary so don't do them. He gives you practice exams that are nearly the same as your upcoming test, so take them. He also loves it when you go to office hours

Great guy, mediocre (at best) teacher. He's very kind and funny, but he goes from step A to step J to step Z as if he's forgotten that not everyone has a doctorate. He seems to have a personal vendetta against calculators. I took AP Stats in high school and barely pulled a B+ in here. Unless you are a serious math person, don't take 2101.

such a fun guy, so helpful, and I didn't mind going to a math class for the first time in my life. Definitely go to his office hours so he knows that you care about the class, this will help your grade a lot. Take this class, Howard is amazing!

Professor Sandler is very willing to help his students do well and is engaging in class, but the course moved to quickly for me. It's also annoying that you aren't really able to gauge how you're doing in the class since he doesn't give grades and the final grades are just based on your average compared to everyone else's in the class.

Howard is awesome! I mean, we called him by his first name only, he wears crazy Hawaiin shirts every day, and he posts all the previous tests online so you can see what his tests will be like. I hate Statistics but he made the class worthwhile to take! Soo friendly and helpful! Love him!

Very nice, friendly, funny, engaging, but never explains ANYTHING clearly and makes people feel stupid in class. Like him as a person but can't learn from him. Good if you learn well studying on your own and can ask good questions in class.

Good Professor. If you have to take Peabody Stats, take this guy. He's a happy guy who likes what he does. He will learn your name and calls on everyone during class. But, relatively easy and what's students to do well.
