Comment:

Meehh, classes are jus way to big to be of any real use. Everybody texting and their phones. Pretty annoying if you do try to listen. You have to go meet with him which seems weird. His lectures are all in MS word so the flow is pretty bad and there aren't many really good images. It was ok, but it would be better with a smaller class.

Attendance isn't mandatory, but go to class and get the notes, or create a class groupme and have someone send the notes there. Homework online and really easy and the quizzes are online and they're either on quizlet or straight from the homework so easy 100s. Study for the test because he gives you exactly what's going to be on it

The best professor I've had at GSU. Seriously this guy is awesome! He lectures a lot, but he makes them very interesting and easy to comprehend. He is always open to helping you out if you need it and usually does a review session before the tests. If I could take one of his classes again I definitely would.

Comment:

Dr. Reichard was an awesome professor. He was always crackin jokes in class, but you really need to make sure that you pay attention. Very lecture heavy. Study, Study, Study. I read the notes and the textbook and still made a C in the class. If you are looking for an easy A this is not the class. Nice guy, and loved him truly but I still made a C.

Even if I had no interest in Geology, I would take Dr. Reichard's course again. His lectures are outstanding. Come to class, take notes and pay attention and it should be an easy A. Lots of extra credit opportunities as well. He drops your 3 lowest quiz scores and has a very generous exam redemption policy.

Dr. Reichard is truly a gem!! The best professor I've had a GSU. He's really passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. He makes concepts so easy to learn/remember by drawing sketches that align with the material. Test are a little tricky sometimes but if you go to class, you'll do fine. Tests come strictly from notes so GO TO CLASS!

Dr. Reichard is an outstanding professor that really knows the material. Quizzes are easy and straight from the textbook. Very engaged in lecture and makes the lectures easy to understand. Would take him again for sure.

Mr. Reichard is the best geology professor there is. The textbook you're going to use is written by him so he knows the material inside out. He does great easy-to-learn sketches that help you to understand the material. He's a real gem and you'd definitely want him as your professor.

Prof. Reichard is a good teacher, but his class was hard for me. You have to really listen in his class and learn the details of the concepts that he teaches about in order to pass his tests. If you daydream during his lectures and only write down the words on the projector, you won't pass. His test are based solely on his lectures.

He made Geology fun, go to lecture and pay attention even though its not mandatory and you will barely have to study for the tests. He gives concept sketches that are super helpful. Make sure to do all online homework and this class is an easy A. Take Amari for the lab

Comment:

Reichard is a great professor who really wants you to do well in the class. His lectures are actually fun to go to and he makes the material very interesting. Go to class and read the additional readings and you will do fine. He gives an extra credit quiz to you for meeting with him before the first exam, go to it and chat, hes a pretty cool guy!

Dr. Riechard made Geology a very easy class for me! His lectures were very interesting and he drew a sketch for all concepts which helps a lot. Tests are just off of lecture notes so if you go to class and just listen you will make an A. There are 13 quizzes to do throughout the semester that go off of the book but are super easy. TAKE HIM

He is a fantastic teacher if you are willing to learn the material presented. He is willing to meet with you 3 days out of the week to discuss anything i.e past test grades, questions you have, or lectures. Attendance is not mandatory, however if you don't go to class, you will not pass.

Keep up on Folio because he does not have the quizzes open for the whole year so you can plan ahead. He opens them when he feels like it. His lectures are fantastic and very easy to comprehend. He doesn't have a cumulative final. He wrote the book too.
